How do i convince my mom to get a cat? No one in my family is allergic, i can't get a dog because i'm not home enough, i have taken care of pets all my life (other people pets), and my mom won't let me get a cat. How do i convince her?

I have a 1 year old male neutered cat and have just got a 9 week old male kitten. The older cat has always been both loving and agressive ( he likes to bite ankles ) Now he has a new playmate and he doesn't seem to know his own strength. I do not want to seperate them but how can I help them to get along? The older one plays with the kitten as if he is possibly prey, like teasing a mouse and lets go when he cries out. Yet he lets him share his food bowl????? Is there something I can buy from a vet to calm him down until the kiten gets a bit bigger???

My cat is so cute. He goes to sleep in his favorite spot (In a bookshelf <_<) and I stay at the computer or watching TV for a while. Then, when I get on my bed, my cat wakes up, goes get some water and then jumps on my bed. It's so cute.

But why wake up just to go sleep again with its human?

I brought my cat to the bank Friday and the manager said I could not have a pet at the bank. I argued that it was much safer than a gun but the lady was not caring about it and told me I needed to use the drive-through.

It does not have fleas and it enjoys the air conditioning. I don't see why it's a problem. Also the cat is soft and furry and this has got to count for something...

We have had her for 18 yrs. She is strictly an indoor cat. She is slowly but surely dying. My wife says euthanize. I say she should die at home where she has lived a happy life. What do you think?

I was very busy with work and was on the computer in my home non-stop for the past two weeks. So, my cat freaked out everytime I got on the computer by meowing constantly so I could pay attention to her....if I walked away from the computer she was fine.
Now my cat has this attitude problem with me and if I pet her she trys to bite me sometimes. I am not so busy now and I want to win back her love but she is making it hard for me. Why is she like this?

one of my landlady's employees went yesterday to get a kitten for my landlady's birthday on monday, and wanted to keep the kitten here at our apartment till monday. She had brought some dry food for the kitten, but it's adult dry food, and I'm not sure if she is eating very much or if even 9 week old kittens can eat dry food. Should I go out and buy some other food. I've never taken care of a kitten this young before.

I was going outside and saw a cicada fly and land on my porch chair. I picked it up and tossed it into the living room for Bootsie to catch and play with.It made it's buzz/humming noise every time Bootsie touched it. Bootsie liked picking it up in her mouth because it tickled her with the vibration!.She carried it to the door and then back to the floor by my chair several times like she was showing me her big kill for the day! Then she would lay down and gently paw at it and play. She did this for hours.

My cat keeps killing the scorpions in our apartments, which we have at least one everyday. They are bark scorpions which are supposed to be highly venomous. But my cat doesn't seem to mind. she plays with them, severs the tail/stinger and then kills them. She doesn't seem effected but I'm curious as to why.
