for a blocked urethra? I took my cat to the vet because he wasn't able to urinate, and the vet "unblocked" him and now my cat is at home, but I'm afraid that he may be "blocked" again because he's still not able to urinate on his own. He tries but doesn't do much. He is not in pain, and beside from his inability to pee, he seems quite alright. Is this normal?

Hello. One of my kitty's pad seems.. used.. Like.. uh.. like an old something. I thought it was normal because they use their back paws to dig, but I just noticed one of his "toes" is blackish. Is this normal? Should I take him to the vet?

He is 3 mo. old, if it helps.

He doesnt seem to act weird or anything. I've had him for three days so I dunno how long he's had that.

It can walk and its eyes are opened but its only about 2 1/2 inches big. It drinks and then crys. I put it in a box and it crys itself to sleep but if it hears me walking by it crys again and it crys when its eating. Is that normal for it? does it need water? Its so tiny I think it might die but it seems to eat but not very much? I dont want to take it to the SPCA because they might kill it . They are over populated. I am just looking for advise to help this tiny kitten. It was crying in our basement for one day non-stop I herd it under the floor boards and there was no other kittens around. just the one.

Please don't jump down my throat. I love animals and all, have had dogs, have a cat now...but this is strange, so I want your opinion.

So I saw a woman walking around downtown this evening with a smallish cage (maybe a ferret could fit in it). So I was curious, and was kind of trying to see what she had. Well, it was empty, and she had a kitten draped over her shoulders (kind of like a living fur collar?). This kitten had a harness, and some sort of neck cloth, like a small bib or something. But she is just walking around with this kitten across her shoulders. My life will go on, but is she wacked, or do other people wear their pets?

My cat has been neutered but is mating with my female cat. Can they have sex if their fixed? I thought they didn't have any urges to do that? Does anyone really know the answer to this question?

Fat-Fat drinks his water, but also seems to like pawing the water out of the dish, this is done on a regular basis. Does anyone know why a cat would paw water out like this on a regular basis?

Until recently she always used her tray, so when I discovered where she was peeing I put a tray there. This solved the problem for a few days and now she's doing it again. Her tray is cleaned every day, sometimes more when she poos, and the vet says she doesn't have an infection. If you catch her clawing at the carpet and chase her, she goes straight to her tray as though she knows it's wrong, how do I stop it completely?

Our cat ,who we found about 1 month ago,is acting very affectionate ( as of yesterday) and when you pet her ,she does this weird crouch thing, she gets all stiff, and she moves her tail to the side, she is also mewoing more. The interesting thing, is we took her to the vet almost three weeks ago, and he said he could tell that she was spayed ,because she had a scar.Does anyone's spayed cat act this way,or could the vet be wrong ?

I like to tie the ears together with their whiskers, and keep them as trophies once they've dried.

First, though, I like to put a noose around their neck and swing them around until their head pops off from the centrifugal force.

It's messy, but quite pleasing.
