sounds like the start of uprespitory disease soon it will be sneezings, coughing, and weezing. If it is young kitten and not treated it can kill the cat, same as if it is a really old cat. Either way get that animal to the vet, it needs antibiotics pronto! Next time keep the cat inside and get it all of its vaccines and the icky eye thing won't come back.

Your cat may have an infection or just a something like a hair in its eye. Rinse out the eye and see if it comes back. If it does, consider taking your cat to the Vet.

It is an eye infection, and it is probably from feline herpes. You will need to get the kitty to a vet to get medication for him. If you don't fix it really soon, your cat could end up blind. And, some cat eye infections are contagious to humans, so don't risk your own health by not caring for kitty. Hurry to the vet!

Usually constant cleaning of the cats eyes after you see this gunk on it's eyes will help it clear up on it's own, if it continues for more than a week get the cat into your vet.

My cat had that symptom and ended up having cryptococcosis. It's kind of rare and much more intense than a common cold or infection, but it's a possibility.

Clean them with a warm wet rag or paper towel. If it keeps happening it could be an infection.
