I brought my cat to the bank Friday and the manager said I could not have a pet at the bank. I argued that it was much safer than a gun but the lady was not caring about it and told me I needed to use the drive-through.
It does not have fleas and it enjoys the air conditioning. I don't see why it's a problem. Also the cat is soft and furry and this has got to count for something...

I think I am more interested in why you would even take your cat with you to the bank? Do you always carry your cat around with you?
If you want a public place to go where you can take your cat, why not go to the pet store? Places like Pet Smart welcome their patrons to bring their pets in with them.

Several reasons. They don't know how well trained your pet is. So to be on the safe side they say no.
Also you have to consider that someone may be highly allergic to pets and you wouldn't want that person having an allergy attack just for going to the bank.
Here in Florida, they just passed a bill to allow dogs to stay with their owners at restaurants that have an outside dining area. I bet in a few years they will start allowing it for cats.

Because some people may be allergic to cats and it could cause problems. It has nothing to do with fleas, or whether or not your cat likes air conditioning.

some people are allergic, you know that. animals have their place,not everyone is big huge animal lovers! yep, its soft and furry, which means it has hair.. if I was standing in line, I wouldnt want the cat hair flying all over me...
oh youve got to be kidding, dogs in an outside eating area?! looks to me like that might be unsafe, oh I know where I wont be going!

Some people can have serious allergic reactions. My dad sometimes gets them. Anyway, they also might be afraid that the cat will 'use the bathroom' while you are holding it.

pets are a liability to bussiness..an animal can get loose and bite or hurt a child or person,people may be afraid of then or allergic.Not everyone like pets and not all keep them clean.

not only in the bank pet is prohibeted is also in supermarket ,malls.church and more.coz the pet they can make disturb and is harmful to the human.thats why they making so.ya we know our pet but we dont know the reaction to the other people how they are to them.
