I just caught him peeing in the corner of the utility closet RIGHT NEXT TO his litter box. I said 'NO!",scruffed him and put him in the box, then covered the corner with fabreeze and baking soda. when i go out later today i plan on getting some of that pet stuff that cleans pee, but will that make him stop using the corner?

why would he do it in the first place? The box wasnt that dirty. And it looks like hes been doing it for awhile.

Are there any better cleaning ideas? Its a tile floor with a mat on it, the mat and the floor both are brownish yellow and covered in some kind of solid (i guess dirt mixed with urine?) im completely disgusted, what do I do?

He's only 2 years old and in great shape, why would he spray?

I want my kitten to be a mouser, and believe she will be very good at it. But she bites everything. All day, everyday. She bites everything, me, cords, toys, the dog, furniture, even herself. I want to know how to keep her as a mouser, but teach her not to bite everything.

I have addopted a kitty from a shelter 2 months ago. And well she is scared of everything. She always hides under her pillow or under the table. She kinda got used to me and my husband, but when visitors come, she flies straight to my room and hides under my blankets. She won't play with any cat toys. I guess she doesnt know what they are. And by her behavior, I can tell that she was abused big time. So is there a way that I can train her somehow to play with toys, and not to be so scared of my other family that visits me? She is about 3 years old.

When my 8 wk old kitten is on the floor I usually juss put my hand underneath him, like hold him by his tummy and pick him up. Does this hurt him? He doesn't seem to jump off? Any other good ways to pick him up?

Oh yea and sometimes my kitten is purring and he bites me a lot. Everytime i try to pet him, he tries to grab my finger and bite it. any idea why?

I just got a 10 week old kitten from the Humane Society about 5 days ago. She was spayed the same day I got her and she has had almost all of her shots. About 3 days ago she started sneezing. She has these 'sneezing fits' every now and then where she sneezes like every 7 seconds and its beggining to scare me! I dont know what I can to do help her.

I had this kitten, not too young, going on 3 or so months, who would NOT under any circumstances, eat cat food. We tried ground food(different flavors), sliced, hard, and more! But he would only eat human food(i.e.-chicken, ham, fries, ice-cream, juice, ceral...). Although he did drink CAT milk...but wouldn't eat cat food. Any reasons why?

We've all heard about monkeys randomly typing out shakespear. A similar but more relevant question (to me) recently came up....how many cats armed with proper materials would it take to spontaneously generate a sweater? Nothing fancy. But functional.

My cat "talks" to people. If you ask her a question, she'll meow back at you. She also hates when people yell at me, and will put herself physically between us and meow at them until they leave me alone.

4 big wild cats and 4 little kittens. Should I report to have them put down or should I look for some families for them?

I told her to go to Taco Bell and get me some tacos, and she didn't. I told her to do the dishes, and she didn't. I told her to scoop the litter box, and she didn't. The only think she's done that I told her to do is "stay here." She's not a very good guard cat; she hides whenever someone comes in. I think it's time she started pulling her own weight around here, don't you?

My cat is eight years old and lived in the house all its life. We keep her litter box downstairs with a pet door on the door for her to go downstairs. We recently brought a new couch. She started after it was only a day old going to one corner of it and peeing. We have tried spraying it with the "Stay Off" spray training aid. It has not had any positive results. We have tried covering that area with a rug, and spraying it. She will just pee in the same area on top of what we covered the it with. She has gone downstairs to use her litterbox and when she comes back up go straight to that corner of the couch and pee. How can I get her to stop before she completely ruins my brand new couch?
