BRING YOUR CAT TO THE VET NOW!~!!!! Oh and by the way you probably already have ringworm now. So you will probably have to be treated as well. that stuff spreads like WILDFIRE.... We had a break out at an animal shelter once, everyone who worked there and ALL the animals had it within a few days... it can contaminate everything from phones, to blankets..... it's very serious. Look on your body for spots... they will probably start showing in a few days... GO TO THE VETS NOW!!! (GOOD LUCK)

Ringworm is not deadly. It is a fungus. It will run its course and go away on its own.....after all the pets and humans probably get it. You can use Lamisil cream to treat the lesions. Or you can bathe the cats in anti-fungal shampoo.....a lot. Like every three days for weeks. Nizoral I think is the one you get at the drug store. Shaving the cat helps because you can see the lesions and treat them. If people get spots, put Lamisil on it.
Kids can get ricgworm from playing in the dirt and then spread it to other kids. Cats just happen to be carriers of ringworm and are more likely to get it. It can spread to dogs or any furred animal.
I hear Blue Star Ointment that you can get at Wal-Mart is good to treat it also.
Yeah....Neosporin will not work, it is not ANTI-FUNGAL. Antiseptics and antibiotics will not work. It MUST be an anti-fungal.
The good thing is that once a cat gets it and gets over it, the same cat doesn't get it again. Humans however, can.

antiseptic, like neosporan. don't take chances. they will eventually kill your cat. if you get one one you, your regret it. (ringworm is a fungus not a worm) it takes about 10 weeks to cure. my cat had ringworm when i got her, it was awful. she developed severe diarrhea, and other complications. I didn't know, but was able to get her help as soon as i figured something was wrong. in the mean time i held her close to me every night and got ringworm under my chin. it was there for 2 months, even with daily treatments. and i was a waitress! i had to wear a bandage on my chin. it was awful. please, please take that baby to a vet, or in my area the humane society will help you.

you would have to take your cat to the vet and have it treated because they could be hinding when you use your home remedie to take the ringworms out and the cat would still have them..
