4 big wild cats and 4 little kittens. Should I report to have them put down or should I look for some families for them?

Ask a humane socity to deal with it, they come out for free, they will find homes for them. Or you put lemon peel in your garden or bottles of water. You could also cut out a cat shape from black cardboard with big eyes cut out & stick it on a pole at ground level.

Depends on where you live. In Australia ferral cats are generally destroyed as there are too many of them, here in the UK, they exist mainly in rural areas.

The best thing to do is to talk to the local vets or cats protection league and they will neuter the adults and the kittens (when they come of age) to stop the breeding continuing.

Under no circumstances feed them or domesticate them unless you want to do this for the rest of their lives.

Take them to the local Humane Society. They will offer the cats for adoption, though cats are so plentiful it's more likely that the adult cats will eventually be put to sleep. If you search for someone to give them too, you probably won't find anyone willing to take them all in.

If the cats are wild, you probably could not catch them even if you could find someone to give them to. You will need to call someone who works with animals like the ASPCA.

Probably not the answer you are looking for but here it goes, I personally like it.
Buy alot of catnip plants and you know that neighbour that bugs the tar out of you and has no respect for others in the neighbourhood?
Well give a teenager $5 to go plant in their yard at night when they are sleeping.
Cat issue moved and also you found them a new family.
But if you are the family in the neighbourhood that no one likes please try not to euthanize them.

if they are wild they cannot be tamed within the life of the cat it just wont take. i would call animal control just because before you know it your garbage is everywhere and you have 16 cats running around back there

Put something in your garden to scare them out. Or you can call the vets and they can find a home for them.

PLEASE try and find homes for the kittens - people will take them - or a pet shop. Not sure about the adults - maybe the ASPCA would have some idea? Would be good if they could all live...

Report them to the pet police. They'll find a good home for them.
