i originally had just a boy cat who we got neutered a year ago. we fed him a small amount in the morning, and half a can of wet food at night. my husband recently bought a girl cat, who had to be spayed before we took her home. she went through everything and a week later we got her staples taken out. well, i was informed that she had gone through a pregnancy before we picked her up. now, we cant get her to stop eating all the food that is put out for the two cats in the morning and at night. shes taken over and now the boy cat is getting skinny, and she has a fat ( i mean super fat) stomach!! what can i do to get it so the cats eat equal amounts? why is she hungry all the time? i'm going to take her to the vet on saturday to get her checked out.. we are worried that she could possibly be preg. but she was supposed to be fixed already!!

My cat started drooling a few days ago, and he hasn't stopped. He is making puddles of sticky drool around the house, and I'm getting really worried. Is this a symptom of a disease or something? He is ten years old, and I'm wondering if it's just old age, or if he's sick. My other cat lived to be 15 and she never drooled. Also, he has bad teeth issues, would that have anything to do with it? But I can't have them removed because he is allergic to the anesthetic.

I have a spoiled, assertive cat that is 4 going on 5 years. I'm getting a 12 week old puppy and I don't want the cat to avoid the puppy, or for the cat to beat up the new pup.

He tries to bite me all the time and he is way too rough! If I try to discipline him (swat on the nose and say 'NO!') he'll run away and when I'm doing something else, he'll swat me back and then run away! He's nutz! I don't want him to become a mean cat; he was SUCH a sweet little kitten!

having asked for advice on here regarding an accidental pregnancy..i have nothing other than smart comments but also a fair share of helpful comments too...but im just curious to know why its ok to PURPOSELY breed either a cat or dog yet if there is an un planned mating ur classed as lazy, cheap, neglegant etc.........i have 2 persians and a ragdoll...my male was booked in to be neutered but caught my female that by my dates shouldnt of been in season so shes pregnant,i have never bred any animal before as i have no interest in breeding etc...but as my cat is pregnant ive been seeking advice and doin my research to ensure making the best of a bad situation..why are people that breed to make a living shooting me down with harsh comments etc?I know my cat is well loved and looked after etc and is NOT a money making machine.
im sorry to sound rude but it annoys me to think that people assume the worst .
i know there are many responsible breeders out there .

Started out with pills that only worked for about a month. He is up to 5 units twice a day and he still drinks excessively! I realize this is a long process but should it be taking this long? I want to know what other options I have and if this is normal. I want to know I am doing all that I can. Thank you.

The people that I bought my cat from are firmly against De-Clawing cats... But my mom De-Clawed her cat about 2 years ago... and her cat loves her, she sleeps with my mom, she follows my mom around.. they are like best friends. My mother spends hundreds of dollars on her cat a year on just spoiling it.. and the cat just loves her to death. The cat is an indoor cat and has never been outside... but she was tearing up all of her furniture and everything.. even when my mom kept her nails trimmed. I just recently bought a kitty and she is starting to do the same things.. what do you think?

I found that if you use grocery bags as a liner for the catch tray, you can rotate only TWO trays and never buy them again..
Hope this helps someone

I took in 3 kittens last week after the mother left them for two days. She is back. Is it safe to put the kittens outside for her to take? I don't know what to do. I know the kittens are better off with their mother but I don't want to put them in any danger.

I have five beautiful Calico Kittens. They are 8 weeks old. Two of them are twins, (they came out of the same bag). One is grey and the other is grey with dark stripes.( like a little tiger). The other two are also striped gray/white and gray/white/orange. If anyone wants them email me please! I don't want to give them away to a shelter that will euthinize them. I live in a suburb of Los Angeles. I am willing to drive to deliver.
