Do not wait as someone else advised. Cat bites are the worst and will become what is called an abscess-an extremely painful pus filled infection under the skin.It causes the cat to get a fever and stop eating.Your cat needs to see a vet , have the wound drained, flushed and cleaned.Put on antibiotics-possible sub-Q fluids and definitely rechecked. These can become quite serious.Plus there may be more wounds on the body you have not noticed yet.Good Luck!!

cat bites can get very very infected. beleive me. my cat is a scrapper so i know what i am talking about. take her to the vet before it abcesses, it will need to be clipped cleaned and possibly a drain installed for a few days. mind you if you can't afford the vet this is going to sound gross but pick the scabs and apply gentle pressure to see if any pus comes out. try and get as much pus out as you can than clean with a mild soap called 'hibitane'. any drugstore will know what hibitane is, or will have an equivalent product. keep doing this every day until healed. oh and apply warm compresses twice a day. but monitor your cat closely, if she goes off her food or seems like shes acting odd take her to the vet, that is the best way to get her better. good luck
ps don't let her outside until all is healed!

Give it a two or three days, cleaning it twice a day with the peroxide. If the infection doesn't start clearing up, take her to the vet for treatment.
I hope you have her current on her shots.
Good luck.

The same thing happened to me once. But i tried everything... except for taking it to the vet. That is what i should have done. It might not even be a cat bite. It could be like a raccoon or a possum. The best thing to do is to take it to the vet, just in case. Good luck.

IF it is all puffy, it may be an absess. That is where a bite gets infected and fills with pus. Then you have to drain it (It's really gross, I know because My cat used to get in alot of fights). If you don't want to do it, you can take it to the vet and have them drain it. They could probably give you antibiotics too so it would heal faster.
