There are quite a few things that can transfer. Ringworm, for one. Rabies. There's also something called "crypto" which is the short name for a very long medical term I can't fully remember. Toxoplasmosis. Mostly just wash your hands a lot.
*These would apply almost exclusively to outdoor cats -- vaccinated indoor cats can affect allergic people, but other than toxoplasmosis - dangerous to pregnant women - that's about it.

Humans can get roundworms, hookworms,cat scratch fever,rabies, and ringworm, which isn't a worm it is a fungus and isn't rare at all. All of these are preventable by good vet care and good hygiene.

Yes you can but it can be treated. Its just like if a dog gets worms, you can get it from them. the smartest thing to do would be to cure it of any sickness, or deworm it. It might not be cheap, but it is the best for you and your animal.

All of the above, plus pregnant women are not supposed to clean the litter box because of toxoplasmosis.

Yup, you can get ringworms but it is extremely rare so don't worry about it. Its also very easy to treat.
