No. Cats are meat eaters and require it in their diet for protein and growth. To remove it would only bring about harm to their health.

It will not be healthy. Cats actually need more amino acids than dogs do. They are serious carnivores. If you can't handle a carnivore kitty, you should get a rabbit, or a pet rat. Rats like meat, but they can live without it just fine.

You could probably make something for your cat using eggs and soy, whole grains and a few veggies, but don't try to give her just vegetable protein, she might not keel over and die, but you'll soon start seeing an unhealthy coat and poor muscle formation.

Definitely not. Pets are not an experiment. I take my cats to a holistic vet that practices accupuncture and chiropractic care on the animals, as well as traditional veterinary medicine. I asked this question once and the answer is no.
You can buy healthy natural foods for them that contain high quality meat, as well as a variety of vegetable and whole grain products: Max Cat, Wellness and Merrick brands are all fine.

Cats are designed to be carnivores. If you are a vegan and cannot deal with kitty chowing down on meat, perhaps you need to consider a change in pets. Try a rabbit - they're naturally vegans and can be litter box trained like a cat.

Nope, cats are carnivors (check out their teeth) and require very large amounts of protein -- much more so than dogs.

Doesn't mean the can't eat veggies if they want -- except onions -- but they do have to have their meat products!

No, but there are so healthy cat foods at pet stores that add good veggies. Some protein is a must.

I used to have a cat that didn't like cat food. He only liked the food I cooked. Steaks are was his favorite! So i think it is possible for cat to like vegetables.

No. Cats require more protein in their diets than even dogs. I live in a town where there are lots of stray cats which have terrible diets, their young are born with misformed bones, kinks in their tails you name it.. And it is all down to not getting enough protein in their diet.
