You can't make a cat do anything. They are very selfish with the lovin'. Some cats like to cuddle, some never will no matter how hard you try. Sometimes, they only love you when they want something. When I wake up with Sammy cuddled up with me purring and cute, I know his food dish is empty. When I accidetnly kick Lila at the foot of the bed, I know she came in when I was sleeping to drink my water on the bedside table and just stayed becauce she is too fat and lazy. Taryn will cuddle sometimes, but I always seems when I want her too, she'll have nothing to do with me. And finally, Lilly will come and pester me for attention and when she's had enough, she bites me. Cats have their own personalities and you can only accept them for what they are. We don't adopt cats, they adopt us. If you want to cuddle, get a dog.

I have a cat like that, and while he still isn't the most affectionate cat in the world I found a way to help it quite a bit. I began by holding him for brief periods of time, then gradually building the time up. If he bites, say "no" firmly until he stops. Don't physically scold him, as this will make him more aggressive. Also, don't rough-house him with your hands because he will learn that they are toys and "ok" to bite. I would also avoid letting him go when he is in the process of biting, because he will learn that biting helps him get away. Good luck with him!

Lol, cats are all different some want lovins and some dont. The only time my cat wants some lovins is when i an on the pot or early in the morning (occasioanlly right before i fall alseep also. But any other time she will hiss and scratch and bite, so its all about the lovins on his terms. I give Kitty her space and she has become a little more social over time. I dont run after her or try to force her to sit in my lap or anything, i let her come to me.

I think a lot of cats are just confused as to what you're trying to do with them. They don't get it. I have a cat who's a little snob half the time, she doesn't like to be petted or held or anything. I just started giving her her space, but I'd still talk to her and praise her and play with her, blah blah blah blah. Anyways, she comes to me now when she's ready for loving, which is usually when I'm sleeping, then she wants to cuddle. It's best to let them get used to your voice and personality, then they warm up.

Why do you want him to be more loving? Anyway, some cats just don't like to be cuddled. And if you really want to cuddle him, don't cuddle him when he's angry, he can bite and scratch!

Just because your cat isn't a lap cat doesn't make him unloving... just means he want's lovin the way he wants lovin. My cat you can't get her out of your lap.. my mother's cat he will let you pet and cuddle him till the cows come home as long as you are standing up. Cats want to be spoiled and only in the way THEY want it. it's just his personality... no worries just go with it

I had a cat like that as a kid. She was beautiful but you couldn't touch her. We could pet her with our feet and she would play with a string, but that's about it. Might just be his personality. However, if this is a recent development, he might be in pain or ill and you should take him to a vet.

4 months remains not very previous (really nonetheless a kitten.) Cats, like human beings, are all different, with different personalities, quirks, etc. the significant component you want to keep in concepts is this; MALE CATS ARE very almost consistently FRIENDLIER THAN FELMALES! I have had many cats, all of them lady except for my new one 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous I named "TUXEDO VALENTINO LOVE" and he's all that. he's large pleasant and nonetheless acts like a kitten (extra like a canines, as he runs to the door even as someone knocks on it and he's really pleasant and playful.) A vet instructed me this one component that i did not comprehend: Male cats are very almost consistently friendlier than lady cats. also, cats favor to be type a million and are happiest even as that's merely you and them. that is significant to undergo in concepts, because the female cat may sense somewhat envy (animals have emotions like we do, of direction.) Make her sense as loved as achievable, supply her some area and the reliable information is that she loves the different cat as a lot as she does. He has taken up the affection in her replaced habit is my wager. one component really neat to do is to provide her "kitty kisses." Beleive it or not a thanks to objective that is even as both of you're gazing into one yet another's eyes, slowly open and close yours to her in a technique of loving wave. See if she would not LOVE this!! with assistance from ultimate your eyes you're telling her that you're not any chance in any respect. that's a spectacular device to enable her comprehend that she is secure and secure on your corporation. go on your community library and have a look into a e book on cat or animal habit. Please be positive to have both cats neutered/fastened as this style of impressive form of (thousands of thousands) cats are euthanized each and each and every 3 hundred and sixty 5 days the following contained in the USA that that's merely so unhappy, and avoidable if merely human beings may be to blame with their pets! reliable success. i wish that i have no component spelled incorrectly because the spell checker isn't operating the following!
