my 9 week old kitten loves to go for rides and i want to get her used of going outside when we go out to sit on the lawn. Is a harness better then a collar?

Yes, a harness would be better. If you are planning on using a leash of some kind. A harness would put no stress or strain on their delicate necks. Plus most cat collars have some kind of break away mechanism so they can't get choked and if you attach a leash to that they could pull right out of it and get away.
Some cats take real easy to a harness right away. Let her wear it inside for a while fist. Then attach a leash and let her just drag it around to get used to the feel while inside. She should do great.

yes your 9 week old kitten can slip out of a collar but not a harness. because it's easier to adjust a harness to the size of your cat without hurting it.

DEFFINATLY use a harness. DO NOT use a collar. I leash trained my kittens when they were about 6 months old and they love being outside.

I would say that a harness is definately better than a collar, but just to let you know... I tried bith on my cat. Believe it or not, he actually got out of both... Cats are very flexible... lmao

Absolutely, a harness is better for all animals because if there is tension in the leash, then there isn't pressure (choking) on the neck.

Cats are less likely to wiggle their way out of a harness.

yes because then if she tries to get loose she cant that is better for you when out with it and its not so hard on her neck is she tries to run.
