Could mean a few things, but biggest reason is a Bladder Infection

Do NOT wait ...have a vet check the cat out. This problem will not work itself out...there could be several reasons why there is an infection, but it needs to be fixed.

In a female it can mean an urinary tract infection, bladder stones-needs to be seen by the vet.In a male it is an emergency as there urethra is very narrow and can become blocked by crystals formed in the urine and this is a life threatening situation

Do you pee blood??? If you did, would you think it was bad????

It means the cat has a urinary tract infection and needs to get to a vet. If it is a male cat, it can become blocked and die.

Its not normal but it is common. It could be stones, which you should have x-rays and an ultrasound done, it could be sterile cystitis which often happens in cats for no appearant reason. Sometimes it resolves on its own but it would really be better to take it to the vet.
