My cat sucks her tail or a piece of a blanket like it's her thumb!
My other cat sits on the toilet seat when it is down and looks at herself in the mirror every morning when I am getting ready for work!

Thats so cute!!!!
Well my one cat Tucker is a little fatty. As soon as I wake in the morning I go to the bathroom - and guess what I hear?
Tucker banging on the door - literally banging his paws on the door - and meowing.
This is his way of saying "FEED ME!!!!"
He opens doors all the time, which is creepy at night!!

Hey, I have a talking cat, too!
She also gives me a dirty look sometimes. I could swear she wants to tell me off when I don't open the door for her, or some other thing that she KNOWS I know that she wants me to do.

My cat also "talks" to people, but he likes to respond to me the most! Sometimes he kinda ignores other people, but I'm his one-and-only! He also meows more than other breeds since he's a Siamese mix (long-haired Siamese, not a Himalyan, we're not sure what the other half is!) - Siamese is the most talkative breed of cat, bar none!
Also, for a while he didn't know how to "open" doors--doors would be open a crack, but he'd meow to be let in. However, I taught him how to open them, by putting his front paws on the door and pressing gently/placing them on the door and letting him see how his weight made the door open. Now he always opens doors that are open a crack if he wants to be let in! It's kinda annoying/startling sometimes, the door will just open, but then you look down, and you'll just say hi to the little guy!
He's very sweet and wants to be with us all the time! He has this favourite chair he likes to sit on, and also uses the side of his scratching post as a couch, he'll lie his front half on the carpeted board on the ground and rest his head on the part he scratches. Funny thing is he gets defensive if you mess with "his" chair or "his" scratching post! He'll stare at you and if you don't move, he might attack you! (He does this kinda regularly anyway, but it's subsided a bit, and when he's older it'll be totally gone. He's just really playful to a fault and doesn't always knows it hurts us, but sometimes, like with the chair, I'm sure he's getting defensive!)
Also he has a revenge thing! Who says cats don't have feelings? If you make him angry, like squirt him with water for being bad, or yell at him, he might look REALLY angry and "stalk" you until he can attack your leg (HARD, not like a normal, playful-I-don't-know-any-better-thing), and then run away really fast!
He also sits at the table when I'm there. Not always with other people, but when I'm there, always. He'll sit on a chair right next to mine, and sometimes put a paw on my knee really gently--very sweet.
He also sometimes, like when we have "cuddle-time" (in bed right after we wake up, he'll walk over purring, and I'll pet him, and he'll get all cozy and cuddled on the side of me, and he'll want to go to sleep again!), will put his paw on or under my hand. It's nice, it's like we're holding hands, but a lot of cats don't like it when you mess with their paws! And my cat is quite tempestuous at times so I believe that qualifies as making him a bit more human-like!
He's also really smart and can learn any trick I teach him. I've taught him to rear up on his back legs to beg for food, and he'll look like a little bunny sitting up or something. Not really very human-like, except for the two-legged thing, but the fact that he's very smart for a cat makes him more human-like, I think.
Also, why my cat is so attached to me alone: Siamese cats tend to latch on to maybe only one or two people and be fiercely loyal to those one or two people. There are tales of Siamese cats being put up for adoption that are so depressed because of it, no matter how nice other people are to them! They want their mommy/daddy! They may stop eating, even, they get that attached.
If you can't tell, I looooove my cat. ^_^

When we rescued a kitten off the streets our "diva" cat that we already had ruling the house got so angry she was yelling at us and the kitten with a human voice!
It sounded like she was screaming, "Oy! Oy! Oy! Oy!..."

My cat responds to questions, kisses, and opens doors using the door nob. Besides that, they are pretty normal.

My female cat (Precious) opens the door with her paws. It is hysterical. And my boy cat (Simba) drinks water with his paw and he also takes your hand with his paw so you can pet him.....When you talk to him he also meows back....Don't you just love cats.
