I purchased "girlfriend" 2 days ago & she has yet to eat or drink. Although, she seems healthy, she has begun to chirp, she wont move off the top perch, & is not playing with her toys, nor eating, or drinking. How long does it take for her to adjust to her new enviroment? Are these behaviors normal? What can I do for her? I brought her home from a pet store where she was caged with numerous other parakeets.PLEASE help!!!!

I read that the incubation period is from 23-25 days. The first egg was laid on July 31. So, its been 26 days since the first egg was laid but it has not been hatched. What's wrong?

I've been told by various people that hand raising a pigeon from day 1 is hard, from what I've heard it sounds like it but at the same time it sounds easy. I've found this topic to be somewhat confusing.

Is hand raising a pigeon as hard as most people say it is?

Jokes and wisecracks are NOT excepted as answers!

Would like to know from someone who has done this before.

Thanks!
