Like everyone else does, the male sticks his penis inside the female and 10 day later the female lays eggs. Look into my group below and see the photo section for mating birds!

Depends upon the bird. Parrots rub their vents together. This passes the sperm to the female. Some other birds quickly eject sperm into the female on the fly. If you're into birds you might love the 10-hour video series called "The Life of Birds". One of the most fascinating series I've watched.
