I read that a clutch contains 4-6 eggs only. But my birds laid its 7th after 9 days of laying her 6th eggs. Does it means she's starting a new clutch?

It depends on the order that the eggs were laid, if the were all laid a day or two apart, they are all part of the same clutch. If the birds laid 3-4 eggs then took a break for say a week or two, then started laying more eggs, they know that the first ones were duds and have started a new clutch.

I think it sounds as though she is adding to her first clutch. Either way, you should only let her keep her eggs for 28 days then discard them if they haven't hatched. If she starts laying immediately (again), try replacing her eggs with wooden ones, when she's done laying and leave them in the hatch box until she looses interest. Birds can die of calcium loss, from laying eggs too often. You should provide some added calcium to her diet, which you can get at any pet store. Put it in a little dish and she will eat it, a little at a time! Good luck!

is she sitting on old clutch? does she have a mate? if she has no mate, take eggs away and go to pet store for some fake ones, and offer to her. the more eggs she lays the more calcium it take from her. is she is single bird with no mate, she will just keep producing. if she has mate with fertile eggs you will have babies...love birds are feisty though, becarefull replacing eggs, or handling babies. they will defend their territory. leather gloves are good investment with love birds.

You may have two hens instead of a true hen and male bird.
Have they had young before?
If so that isnt the case
But if they have never had a live clutch it may be indeed two hens.
