Birds - August 2006

I believe I have a female pigeon "nesting" or escaping the heat in the corner of my roof(lots of shade).She's making a deep,loud cooing sound much different than the usual cooing.When she sees me,she puffs herself up and does a sort of "stomp".Could she be hurt or guarding babies?

My neighbors are complaining about it's 'singing' at night. When it learned twinkle little star it loved that song. He sings it every night and everyone goes crazy. How can I make him talk during the daytime. He's pretty smart for a bird.

he spends most of his time sitting in his water bath. he is at least 8 years old. am worried he might be ill as he doesn't normally spend so much time in it. the room i keep him in is of a comfortable temperature, but maybe is he just trying to keep cool?
