I have a three gallon with about 1/2 an inch of gravel - is that enough for a plant? Or should I anticipate it dying?

Is there anything that will do alright?

We recently got a white long-haired cat, and it was doing fine for the first 2 months, and then it started shedding a lot, and there is two bald patches on the cat, one on its neck, and one behind its ear. It has also started to vomit, but it has only vomited twice. What could this be?

So I noticed it the other day when I was feeding my fish in my 10 gal tank. I was concerned but I said I will give it a another day ! Well the Tetra has this thing on its like lip but it is a little bit lower and it grew. It is white and it is sticking out !. I do put aquarium salt in my aquarium.

You think it is a parasite ? I am not sure but I think il go over the the petsmart by my house and by bowl buddies that cures parsite in and out plus ICK

I am worried please tell me what to do ?

I have a yellow lab and she lives in the garage/outside. She has a dogdoor to a small pen outside and a filthy bed in a box. My mom wont let her in because she sheds. But i'm worried my dog is lonely and cold......

What can I do to make my mom let her inside????????

The vet won't come out to me, she has always been terrified of car rides so I don't want to put her through that at the end.
She is 19 years old and has lived a great life. It is time now to let her go. She has been blind for 3 years and now is deaf. She has also been having siezures for the last couple of months now. Her quality of life is by far at the lowest it has ever been and I want her to go now while she can still feel our love.
Please if you know of any over the counter drugs that could let her pass peacefully let me know. I want serious answers only and only methods that can be confirmed either online or by calling the vet. Her vet knows what I plan to do and though he doesn't offer suggestions, he does not oppose my decision.

Ok first a lil background..Our neighbor across the street had an adult Chocolate Lab named CoCo. They never did anything with her kept her in a kennel and never had her spayed. She got loose and came over here with my males..I know she stayed with one Male..not sure about the other. My neighbor never asked for her back just told me he didnt want her anymore..So I knew there was a great chance she got pregnant..She was in heat and around my males in early Oct. I've moved her inside our clean basement out of the cold. She's very pregnant..Her nipples are sagging more and more everyday..Everyday I check them and Friday I noticed that if you squeeze her nipples milk comes out..Is she about to have the pups soon?

i know that dalmatians are born without spots and may not develop them for several weeks but i mean a fully grown adult. i also know that you can get dalmatians with patches rather than spots but that is also not what i mean. thank you very much if you can satisfy my curiosity on this subject! toodles.

There are a lot of cats a few dogs and a rabbit. I want them to be kinda christmasy but still fit in all year round. I can sew so this is not a problem. I really want to let all the animals in the shelter have a nice christmas.

Ok, i found a female dog whos obviously just had puppies. She has HUGE teats. The dog is extremely skinny, all its ribs are showing, its spine, and hip bones!!! :( The dog also shows signs that someones been fighting her. She has scares all over her face and legs. She has been very friendly to me...not violent at all.

My question what do i do now??? I dont know where her puppies are!! If i did i would take them in. Who do i call for the dog? We have a humane socitey in my city but no "Animal Cops" like you see on tv.

I have 2 dogs of my own and i dont want to put her in the backyard with my dogs.....incase shes still feeding the puppies somewhere.....What should i do!?!?

My 12 year old Rottie has very severe hip dysplaysia which causes him pain, he has practically stopped eating and looks like a skeleton with fur, his eyesight is going rapidly and often growls if he thinks he sees a stranger...though sometimes it is family or my girls, He has stopped giving cues about needing to go outside.
He has had a very rough life until we took him a year ago (was husband's brother's dog, though he couldn't be bothered)
I want him to have the very best, but think that maybe the best would be to humanely put him down before the rest of his faculties fail him.
He has been seen by the vet and the vet will not advise on the issue, just says it is our decision to make.

What would you do in this situation?
Do you agree that quality of life is more important than just living?

I have two, but one is very scared and shy. I have had them for about 3/4 days now. I need to clean the cage but I dont want to force it out as it only gets more scared. Any tips on how to get her out? I tried feeding her food but she just comes to the door and no further (the other feamle is fine and runs outside the cage)

We've just collected two gorgeous baby chinchillas.. they are both boys. One is beige, the last one born but is very confident and is always the first one to the door when it's open, he has quite large ears for the size of him and they're quite fluffy! The other one is grey, the first born, very placid, loves cuddles but is very shy and takes a bit of persuasion to come out of the cage. We don't have any ideas for their names and would like to call them something a little different! Can anyone out there help us?

my husband started to give my chihuahua little pieces of toilet paper to eat, and she loves it. He only does it when he goes to the bathroom. I was wondering is it safe for her to be eating toilet paper? i mean she doesnt get sick or have any side effects when he does it.

My rabbit is 5 years old and a bit over weight. He is lethargic and will not eat/drink. His ears are cold and he smells REALLY bad.
