What are my chances of saving this poor dog from being killed?
http://lfpress.ca/newsstand/News/Local/2007/12/11/pf-4718925.html
My Husband & I have a 50 acre Ranch where I spend my summer. So the poor dog (that never had a chance) would have endless space to play, inside or outside the Ranch....I would hire someone full time to care for the pooch, While I am absent.I have called the place where he is being held in Quarinteen, With no call back yet...several messages left....What else can I do?...HELP

On the late night news, a German Shepard life was thankfully spared today, after the Judge concluded that the Child provoked the dog to attack, by hitting and kicking the poor thing.
The owners of the dog compensated them financial of course.

Sadly most dogs are always blamed for defending them self.
People murder people and are not bumped-off/euthanized.
But if a dog bites a person, some people are out for blood and get a power trip and want to murder the dog immediately

1. If I like it, it’s mine.
2. If it’s in my mouth, it’s mine.
3. If I can take it from you, it’s mine.
4. If I had it a little while ago, it’s mine.
5. If it’s mine, it must never appear to be yours in any way.
6. If I’m chewing something up, all the pieces are mine.
7. If it just looks like mine, it’s mine.
8. If I saw it first, it’s mine.
9. If you are playing with something and you put it down, it automatically becomes mine.
10. If it’s broken, it’s yours.

I want to start out by saying I am against declawing in most cases..I had my cat declawed 4 years ago, before i knew what exactly it was. I regret it now, even though he is very vibrant and playful even now. ...That being said, I have been thinking a lot lately about why it is considered to be inhumane to declaw and "break the fingers" , while neutering is perfectly excepted in all regions of the world. Even though it entails "one of the simplest surgical procedures performed in all of veterinary medicine. The cat is fasted over night so that anesthesia is performed on an empty stomach. The scrotum is opened with a small incision and the testicles are brought out. The cords are either pulled free and tied to eachother or a small suture is used to tie the cords and the testicle is cut free. "

please don't tell me so that there are no unwanted euthenasias done to street animals that will then occur. A good pet owner will keep their animals monitored at all times.

So they want me to do a 25 percent water change every two weeks, I don't see how this is possible to do in under 5 hours, considering the room the tank is in is really far away from the sink.

Is it really that neccsary to change the water? Isn't their some other way to get the same effect?

She is normally at school with me, and she is fine. She relaxes on the cage floor and plays in her playpen for exercise, but I'm home for the holidays now and she is acting very strange. She is trying to throw her litter box, she is "peeing" (it's more than what she usually does--a huge puddle) and she won't flop down and relax like she usually does. Will this subside as she gets used to it? She has her hay and toys, I don't know what else to give her. What can I do?

My cat was recently throwing up and having other minor issues and overall just not feeling well..I took her into the vet and he did a complete blood test on her. He tested for Feline Leukemia and kept retesting 3 times because he was barely getting a positive. He still couldnt get a very good positive and diagnosed her with it. He gave me antibiotics to give her and one week later she is her normal self again, eating great and everything is good. What do you guys think?

She is still crying even with the pain meds we were given. Any suggestions? It is the middle of the night, she is breathing ok, and fairly alert, but cries when she moves certain ways. Very sad.
She is also eating ice pretty well, and has went potty both ways, so all is ok in that area.

The dog is acting like he really wants it, so I think might as well let him have some.

Whats the worst that could happen?

Its not like there is any dog in the food, to the best of my knowledge, its chicken...

Would having the dog groomed to clear the hair from his eye area help? I'm afraid he'll get an eye infection or worse. Are my fears unfounded?

I have a cooter and I'm pretty sure it's a male. If I take it out of the water, something extends and starts oozing clear slimy stuff and one time I saw it squirt. I'm not kidding. I can't find any pics online to describe it so I was wondering if anyone could describe it so I can know for sure. Thanks!
