I would not trust that "lady",.. puppy's eyes should have been opened weeks ago!
Pls take to vet ASAP.

So, she was saying he was born without eyes, basically? If that's the case then no, he won't ever be able to see.
I strongly recommend you take the puppy to a vet yourself. There is no possible way anyone on here can tell you what's going on or what the prognosis for this dog is - you need to get him looked at yourself. I would never trust the word of someone I got a dog from, how would you know she wasn't just trying to offload a sickly dog?

Have you talked to the vet personally? Usually, it means that the eyes are infected and stuck shut if they aren't open by 2 weeks of age. There is a chance that at this age, without care that he is blind. I would get a second opinion ASAP.

WOW!! You got to get him to a vet. By 4 weeks there eyes should be open!!!! Go to the vet tomorrow period....Don't wait any longer!! Something is wrong!!!!

If his eyes have not developed,then they are not going to and he will be blind.He could just have sealed eyelids,though,which can be surgically opened.I can't believe that you obviously haven't had him to a vet.That's the only thing you can do to find out exactly what's wrong.

Do you mean seven WEEKS or seven DAYS? If you meant to say seven DAYS old, then it is normal. Average time the pups eyes stay closed is ten days to two weeks.
