I have a young filly and shes really sweet to me i call her she comes all that baby cute stuff she is really obedient, But there is one thing she doensnt like my brother or any other male for that fact. She was a freebee and wild as a march hare when i got her a year ago.
I am pretty much the only one that has handled her i am in a non horsey house hold. My brother and i were walking her and just all of the sudden she took out after him ears pinned teeth bared. Ever since that day she has been that way to him and every male. We had some freinds out to cut wood in the pasture and i had to catch her because she was running at them, kicking , and strikeing.
To my knowledge no one has done anything bad to her.
I was looking for some insite to this behavior. It hasnt been really a problem or anything like that because we know of this problem and manage it accordingly.
Does anyone know what may have caused this or is it just her quirk one of many !!!

I have a Betta at the moment, and waiting for it to pass on (Had it for a good 6 months), Once he's gone, I'm thinking of buying an Axolotl or two. I live in Australia, and I was wondering if you need any licences, or things like that. I was also wondering, How big should the tank be?
I know you have to feed them raw meat, but which meat?
Thank you.

I have an appointment for spaying my female cat tomorrow morning. However, I just got in from work and noticed she began a heat cycle just tonight. This is the third time she's on heat and I had scheduled this appointment for 2 weeks now. Is it safe for her to be spayed during heat? I am concerned for her safety and health more than anything. Please I need some help. Thanks.

It is around 37-40 degrees farenheit outside at night. I've tried letting my german shepherd inside to sleep at night because it's pretty cold out but he just scratches at the door so I'll let him back outside. He just likes to sleep outside! Is it okay for him to do so?

I have a 8 year old German Shepard. She recently stopped wanted to go outside. Then when we do let her out for more then 10 minutes she starts to chew on the metal fence making her gums bleed. Why does she do this and how can we stop her. We have two other dogs, one being her sister. They go outside all the time and have no problems. And the dog that keeps chewing the fence is the dominant one so its not like they are bullying her. I dont know what to do. Any suggestions.

Hi, guys. I'm thinking of spaying my dog (female) and neutering my cat (male). What are the pros and cons of doing so?

Now, there is a crack in the wall and it could have come from there, but I am paranoid that it came from my dog. When I tried to drown it with the sprayer to see what it was, it struggled to get in the crack. Either way I'd like to know what kind of worm it might be. From the dog, what kind? From in the wall, what kind? It looked like a very skinny red long earthworm, but without the thick head on each end, and it was fast.

I have 2 dwarf rabbits and before the boy was desexed he used to nibble the girl and then hump her now he doesn't hump her but just nibbles at her. It's not really a bite- he just burrows into her skin and nibbles at it but it's hurting her and she doesn't defend herself even though she's actually bigger than the boy and now she has bits of visible skin where he's continuously nibbled at her.

I don't think it's grooming because she grooms him but she licks him when she does it. And he is very insistent on nibbling her.

She's recently started to make a whining noise when he does it to her.
I've tried firmly telling him no and pushing him away but he just comes back and does it again.

At the moment I'm removing him from the cage each time he does it and putting him in his carrier but no such luck yet- I'll try it for a couple more days.

I'm also thinking about squirting him with water each time he does it.
Any other ideas?

My 3 year old chihuahua just developed some type of skin irritation a few days ago that i thought was ringworm....I took her to the vet and he said "No, Its a skin allergy." So....She is on benedryl and some type of antibiotic. Why does it look like it is getting worse today?! There are five circles on her chest, two on her forehead, and one on her back. They look like they are scabbed over....Im soo worried about this? Has anyone had this type of problem before? I was also told by my vet that chihuahua's are MORE prone to skin rashes and allergies.
