My cat has seen at least 3 different vets because of her habit with barfing. She's a normal cat, no other problems, and no one has yet to find anything wrong. Her current vet said that her blood is the healthiest he's seen in a while. But she throws up about twice a week on average, sometimes more than that. She's up to date with shots, is an indoor cat, has had no "stressors" (in fact we took a stressor AWAY from her - another cat that fought with her a lot), she's the only pet in the house and she likes it that way. I just don't understand why she throws up so much? It's almost always just food, its NOT hair so please don't give me the hair ball speech. We've adjusted her food several times....you name it, we've done it. Is there anything else we HAVENT considered?

I just asked this ?. BUT I neglected to say that their is a leash law and the dog is owned buy a county cop. And talking to him or his superiors could only invite trouble. And labs are good diggers so an enclosure might not work.

The neighbors dog is about 1 1/2 yrs old, and has learned that if she gets into the trash bags, she might find some goodies. The trash I put in a covered container, but the recyling bin does not have a cover. What might I have in the house or can buy to spray on the bags to deter the dog,(other than a shotgun) WITHOUT harming the animal? Other than that, she is a very nice dog. Thanks Lee

I have one 2 year old dog at the moment who is very energetic. He gets along very well with other dogs whom he meets at the beach but has a lot of energy. Would a second dog be good to help work off his extra energy?
We have room for another dog and a big garden. We walk our dog two or three times a day and can afford it.
Do you think it would be a good idea?
Could I please hear from people who have the experience to tell me whether having one dog or two is better.
Thanks :)

He is about 16 weeks old. Currently we are refilling his dish like 3 times a day (he eats a 3# bag a week) and he gets tuna juice on his dish at least 3 times a week and a pouch of wet food nearly every day... We have had him for almost two months and he has tripled in size.. he isn't fat (in fact he is very lean and LONG) Is he just going to be a big cat? When should I worry that I am feeding him too much? When do you know that a cat is fat?

I've always wanted a Pit Bull, and I'm sure to get one when I move out and a bit older. I see everyone's Pit's and they're gorgeous.

She keeps saying, "You never know! They will turn on you! I know someone who's had one since a puppy, and it turned on her 5 years later! The top aggressive dogs are Labs, Pit Bulls, Border Collie, German Shepherds, Doberman's, Dalmations, and many more!"

She is SO WRONG! I've shown her YouTube videos, told her about the breeds, yet she is still convinced that these dogs will "turn on you" eventually .. It bothers me!

How can I convince her?

I got 2 apbt. 1 is 5 1/2 month old male and the other is 8 weeks(still a puppy) female. They playfight alot the big one is always getting on top of her and bothering her he wont leave her alone unless hes tired. he doesn't bite her hard but the small one bites him hard, the big one got cuts all over his cheeks but he just keeps on bothering her. Should I keep them apart for now? Or what can I do to make him stop bothering her?

She has a collar on and its not working. I have another cat who I checked and he doesn't have them yet and I don't want him to.

My dad said trying to bathe her is dangerous (since she's about 4 months old) so how do I get rid of them?

Hi,
I,ve been thing of getting a dog mainly becuase I would like one that I can walk say 1-3 times a week so not only to keep the dog fit but also me as I would like to go on walks more.

I live in a rural part of Ireland in a council estate with a small yard so the dog would not have much room to run around at my house but I live right next to two beaches, one small one and one called Ballyteigue Bay so the dog would be able to get plenty of exercise if needed.

As far as behaviour traits I would like a dog that would be content with being inside a small house but also enjoy being outdoors. Kind of a balance between the two. It would also help if the dog is not barking all the time as I would not like to annoy my naighbours even though they have a dog that barks all the time.

Some dogs I,ve been looking at are the, GSD, Border Collie, Golden Retriever, and the Labrador Retriever.

Does anyone know a breed that would be like what I have described?

PS: Thanks for reading and the help!

I have an 8 m/o American Cocker
My brother has a 1 y/o Brittany Spaniel

We have a family diner every Sunday and I'm the one that goes to their house. My dog is well socialized with other dogs and people, I take him to the dog park every day but when I go to my brother, my dog is too dominant toward my brother's dog. My dog keeps biting the other dog's ears, none stop. ...the other dog gets really aggravated by it.

I tried correcting him with times out, the spray bottle and we even put that bitter stuff on the other dog's ears ....everything failed. What's next?

and how will the bunny react to the cats? I have two cats at home, one is 9 years old and one is 10. they are both still in great shape, and one of them goes outside a lot and hunts. I don't think they have ever seen a bunny before, but I am bringing my pet bunny home from school. He is a dwarf bunny and is only a couple years old. How do you think my cats and bunny will react?
