I agree with the majority of the answers. He is looking at you to tell you he loves you and that he would like to interact with you. Look I understand that at times, we just have to be in front of the computer, depending on the size of your dog, you can pick him up and let him sit or sleep on your lap. I always do this, esp when I was studying, my doggie would sit calmly on my lap and I would pat him whenever I could- this is a good way to be interacting with your dog but getting stuff done at the same time.

If he is too big to sit on your lap, maybe he can be by your feet and give him regular pats. Dogs are pack animals, they need to interact with their pack, which is you!!

Maybe the dog wants some attention. Get off the computer and play with him.

I agree with all of the above, he wants you to notice him and play with him, maybe take him on a walk, or outside in the yard and throw some balls for him to chase, a trip to the dog park, anything to interact with him.

Definitely the vet immediately. Do not sit on the computer any longer or he may suffer.

Pet him. Interact with him. Love him. He's a COMPANION, not an iPod.
