Dog

I have had both, but I prefer dogs.

Every dog I have ever had has let me know when someone is around my house. My cat did not. All he would do would pee under the computer desk....and it was not cause his little box was full either, it was a self cleaning one. Paid $50.00 for that thing.

But dogs travel so much better than cats. And dogs seem to protect better than cats.

I have to say cats!! I have both, but my kittens are always giving loves and come when i call them just as the dogs but i can pick up and leave for the weekend and don't have to pay for them to go somewhere, cats can go inside or out and they potty on their own!! I love both but Cats have my heart!!

My mother has one dog (Irish Wolfhound) and a domesticated short hair cat. I LOVE both of them equally, even though cat beats up the dog a lot. She has a scab on her nose. But things get easier day by day by day!

depends on the person they both are great companions and need love and affection but cats are more independent while dogs require a lot of time and care.

depends on how much room you have and if you are going to be home a lot. if you are, then definately a dog, if not, then cats are more independent
