I was wondering if you've ever witnessed seeing a "cabbit" it's half rabbit and half cat. My friends mother had one and was on a local tv show/
I saw one again yrs. and yrs. later late one day when I came home/it was all cat, except the hind legs were rabbit and it hopped and had a rabbit tail......very strange, freak of nature but a cute animal
have u have heard of them or seen them 1st hand urself?

I have a 5 yr old mare in foal with 2nd foal. I bought her already bred so not sure of due date. Do mares in last weeks of pregnancy go off their feed?? Or stay off to themselves? PLEASE ANY ADVICE IS APPRECIATIED. GOING CRAZY WAITING.

We have a 4 month old puppy. We trained him to sit and shake so far. I'm working on "down". What are some other things we should train him to do? I'm looking for sensible things and why you think it's important. I'm also looking for cute or funny things that you've trained your dog to do or you've seen. Any ideas?

What would you do, and have you done something like this before?

So many of us say that we would do something/say something, and take action, but how many times do you walk by or drive by a house where there is a pet chained up in the yard, just barking, and howling, not wanting to be chained up, wanting to be free and treated well.
What can we do to better protect animals from abuse?

we have a 9 month old femal puppy. she is very loveable and smart and obedient, and is a lab cross w/ pitt. I have heard horror stories about pitt bulls and am afraid as she gets older she will become aggressive like a pittbull.Is it a trait of that breed, or can I breathe a sigh of relief?

I have two kittens. One is clearly have a uri and I have an appointment for him tomorow with the vet- however I noticed tonight that now the other one has a slightly runny nose and is drooling a little. Anybody have any ideas as if the drooling constitues an emergency or can he wait till tommrow to go to the vet with the other kitten ? any tips or education on this would be so much appreciated and would releive my anxiety for these little guys.

On the drive home I noticed he was pulling his feathers out with his beak &realized that the spot on the head was actually a bald spot. I drove to the vets office. While the doctor did not work with small birds,she did tell me that there is a good possibility that the bird is suffering from stress. My sister also mentioned the possibility of mites(?). Could this be? How would I treat them? & if the problem is stress will his feathers grow back once he gets settled down?

i just got a beta fish and i have been feeding it multiple times a day like 5-8 little beta bite pellets at a time and it always seems to eat almost whenever i put food in. Do they eat untill they die like some animals.... or is it just hungry?

Why do people only want a quick fix for the symptom? WHY NOT solve the PROBLEM?

A dog in pain has bigger problems then the pain it feels...why don't people want to know what's causing the pain or bleeding or whatever the symptom is?

my dog, a 9 pound two-year old dug up my candy bag while we were out eating. He found those big hershey's milk chocolate bar, took it to the living room and, from what i think, carved it with his teeth and ate what he carved. He of course didnt eat all of it, when we got home after like an hour or so, there was still a big chocolate bar with a semi-deep carved lump in the middle. He usually greets us at the door excitedly, he reacted the same, everything seems normal, I'm not sure if it's just because I just got home 30 minutes ago, or something will happen later. So i want to ask what should I do? I dont plan on calling the vet or anyone, I just want to know if i should call the vet, or if there is anything i can do at home. I immediately asked and did some research when i got home just now. I dont know what will happen later. So please please help me!!

my dad just caught a kitten today that isnt house broken knore hasnt been around civilization. and i that little fella is choking me up with his/her mallerd meow, doesnt wnat to face me but instead point his\her body to me. evry time i hear that awfull meow i feel like crying a river.

will that little kitten get used to it here in a human house with another half year old cat my dad just got 3 days ago with the same sitchuation.
cause i dont want the thing to stress to death underneath the kitchen table here

I don't get it, if they are so desperate to help out pets and want the best for them, why would they make people pay to get one? Do a credit check or something to see that they have the money needed to care for a pet but dont make them pay to SAVE an ANIMAL they supposedly love. I mean yea they have to take care of things which cost money, but 100 dollars a pet? Yea right
