A 2 gallon tank can hold ZERO guppies. Yes, guppies are small, but they are very active fish that need lots of space to swim. Many professional guppy breeders say no less than 20 gallons for guppies, but that seems a little extreme to me, 5 gallons is good for 1 or 2. 10 gallons if you want to keep males and females, then you can have 2 males and 4 females.

a good rule of thumb is one inch of fish per gallon of water so you should have only one guppie in a tank. if you want allof the fry to servive they need to be in a bigger tank. also the female guppy could have more babies (fry) because they mate once and can give birthup to seven times, and haveing 10 to 100 young every 28 to 30 days.

That's a tiny tank for guppies; possibly too small for any.
At most 2. NO FEMALES. If they breed in that size tank, you've got bad problems.

I would not put more than 5 guppies in the small 2 gallon tank. Keep an eye on them because without you realizing it you might become grandparent to an army of guppies.
Make regular water changes of 25% weekly, plants in the tank are good because it gives them hiding places, clean the gravel at least monthly, and don't over feed.

Well the genneral rule is 1L/fish. Guppies are happest in groups of 4-6 or more .. i have 4 guppies in a 3L tank and they are happy. Also they prefer a higher ratio of females to males.. eg 3 females 1 male There is no rule so to speak but if you want them to breed and have long life span i would give as i said 1L for each fish. I guess if would also depend on what breed of fish you have?

1 inch of fish per gallon of water. 2 gallons = 2 guppies, max. You should find new homes for the babies ASAP.
