I 've notice people placing their animals, cats and dogs in the passenger seat with air bags.I don't think it is safe if it should deploy, like in a accident. What do you all think on this subject?
Thank you for your input on this matter.

I have a male betta that is about 6 or 7 months old. He has grown about as big as he should. All of a sudden, over night, he developed this white lump under his stomach, slightly on his belly fin. I thought it may be ick, but when i added ick treatment, there was no difference. His jaw is also developing a fuz and is slightly swollen. He doesn't eat half as much as normal... Any suggestions?

I once had a fish (shumbunkin) and it was living in a 10-gal. with 2 other goldfish.(There were 2 ornaments with small holes in them) Well, I went to school one day and came back and the fish is dead due to it sticking its head in a hole of one of the ornaments. None of them had ever done that before, and the fish showed no signs of weird behavior. Though I now think the entire situation is hilarious, I want to know if fish actually have mental problems like that.

Two of my dogs ate Tomcat rat posion on Friday afternoon. The dogs are a min pin that weighs about 12-15lbs and a italian greyhound that weighs about 7lbs. I was cleaning out a cabinet and the posion was in the very back of it. They must have gotten in out when I turned my back- they are very quick. It was not a whole block- one of the corners was gone off of it and the two of them ate the one block. I called the vet right away and they told us to do the whole peroxide to make them vomit thing but they never did. So we jumped in the car to go to the vet and get another box of the exact posion to take with us as we had no more at the house. I called the 800 number on the back of the box for Bell Labs. They asked lots of questions about the type of dogs, weight, health of dog and the amout they ate. In the end he told me that the min pin could eat 4.5 cubes and the ig could eat 3 cubes b/4 it would be a toxic dose. He said they would be fine b/c neither one ate a whole cube.

My goldfish is 3 years old and kind of stupid (like owner like pet ). Anywho, a few days ago, it had these red blotches all over its top fin, and now they're gone. I probabaly shouldn't be worried since it's gone, but I want to know what is wrong, can it happen again, and is it fatal?

I'm trying to get some information on these two breeds. Are they the same, or are they different? Also, I'm under the impression that these breeds are gaited. Does either breed actually canter? Or is this breed similar to the Tennessee Walker in that it can canter, but most breeders and trainers do not canter the horse because it can cause pacey-ness? I'd love any information...

She has been running around the house barking at any little thing. She has been extremely obiedent, then guarding and agressive.
Is she just too hungry? I switched her from Nutro Max mini chunks.
I think she is back to the correct weight. She went from the vet scale type 8, I think she is back to a 6 or 7. I can just barely feel her ribs.

Besides getting rid of the cat, what can she do? She keeps the boxes clean....why would a cat that has always been litter-trained stop using the box?

Why does my beagle dog sleep with me and when my husband comes to bed she growls and snips at him and it is his dog? It islike she does not liked to be moved when she is sleeping with me. She will know when I am going to bed and beat me in the bed but will not growl or snip at me just my husband. Another question is how do I keep her from jumping up on us and visitors? We have tried tapping her toes with our feet and gently kneeing her in the chest and at both things telling her "down". Neither have seemed to work. She is a sweet dog and loved by everyone in our neighborhood but these things just irritate me to no end. I hope someone can help me. Never have owned a Beagle breed before.

My dog is a yorkshire terrier....he is almost 7 months old and i love him to death. There is just one problem. He is bound and determined to run away. So we usually put him in the fenced in area, but if we let him be in the front on a chain which is what he likes most( which is why we love to do it) he finds a way to run away. I dont know how and it doesnt seem possible but it happens. We have tried different chains and everything. And i am getting kind of tired of chasing after him. We discipline him in different ways....we spank him, wont let him out for a while, EVERYTHING!!!! nothing works! I was thinking about a strong invisible fence but i dont have any experience with them. Do any of you have experience with them? If so...Good? Bad?.If not...any other suggestions? PLEASE HELP...Thanks so much
