Anyone know a good vacuum for getting up pet hair?

I have 2 hairy cats and a hairy dog

Hmm, quite a few dyson fans, but I read too many bad reviews from angry customers to take that risk.

Any other ideas?

Dyson. I swear by them. I have four hairy cats and two hairy dogs, and three messy children!!!!

I just got the new Dyson DC15 Animal. It has a few more attatchments then the All Floor model. It has done wonders on the smell and hair in our house. The Rainbow is a good vacuum, my parents had one for 10 years at least and they just got the Dyson. They have told me the Dyson is much much better unless Rainbow has changed a lot over the years. I have 5 dogs and 2 cats and the Dyson got the hair out of the couches sooo easy. If you do look into getting one I highly suggest Bed Bath and Beyond because you can use their 20% off coupon and that will knock off $100 or so.

My vaccuum has a brush on it (i dont remember the brand) and it works great for a house with a Golden Retriever, a German Shepherd, and two cats. I also use the Arm & Hammer vaccuum cleaner stuff that is specialized for freeing up pet hair in the carpet. it works great.

the hoover called Henry. it the best hoover in the world. always sucks up everthing i have a hairy cat and it does the trick they are about £80.00 and you get a few bags free with it. just put the brissles down for very hairy patches!

Any vacuum with a rotating brush should work. If you have uncarpeted areas..use a swiffer.
