Even though we have kept them apart the b*tch decided to clear a 5ft board when are back was turned.
Neither have been done as we wanted to mate both but not together.

Yes, it's possible.

It is possible. If you think she was bred from him you can take her in and have the vet give her a cleanout shot that aborts any unwanted puppies, though that is only if you actually want to breed her. If not you can get her spayed and that will remove any unwanted puppies and then you cant have more unwanted puppies in the future. If you are not going to breed these two together then you should probably fix one of them or keep the male at another house because they will keep getting out of kennels and keep breeding with each other. They dont know they arent suppose to mate so they will unless they arent on the same property or very well separated. Good luck

Yes! Male dogs sexually mature by six months. Obviously the female can only get pregnant when they are in heat. My females did not go into heat until they were 8 months old.

My dogs are all fixed now, but one of them can jump a 5 ft fence flat footed. I have to keep him on a leash when he's outside. The first thing he wants to do is jump the fence. If they see something or smell something, they usually find away to get out.

If your not going to breed them, get them fix A.S.A.P., they are so much easier to handle. Especially the males!

i don't no much about German shepherds but yes it can be done, i found out the hard way with a nine month old dog.

if you didn't want her to breed you can take her to the vets for a course of jabs to prevent pregnancy from happening. need on the 3rd day and again 2 days later.

Yes its possible that your dog can mate your *****.Hes sexually mature so its highly likely that if they have been left together that she could be pregnent.Either way you wont know for a few weeks,so for now keep them apart and ideally get one or both spayed/neutered theres no reason why you should breed of them and breeding takes alot of time, effort, and money.

Yes an 8mth old can breed. Did they have a tie?

My Whippets can clear a 5 ft like nothing if they really want to, why would you think it would contain a GSD?

did you see them in tied position,
I would think that at seven months his sperm would not be plentiful/strong enough,
saying that ,we are told with the big breeds to try a male at stud at ten months,
hope she is'nt pregnant,as this would then give you the oppurtunity to get all relevant health tests done on your dogs, before breeding them,
but you could take her to vets and get the injection that is done within 24 hours of mating, this will stop any unwanted pregnancies,
good luck

Of course an adult German Shepherd can jump 5ft. They will do anything to breed when they are in heat. And yes, she could be pregnant. Please don't get into breeding if you lack this much common sense.
