I 've notice people placing their animals, cats and dogs in the passenger seat with air bags.I don't think it is safe if it should deploy, like in a accident. What do you all think on this subject?
Thank you for your input on this matter.

I know this may just sound bad, but I just let them wander around the vehicle. I hate having to have them locked up in a crate and not knowing what is going on. Just let the animal wander around and lay down where it wants. The only thing I don't do is roll my window down really far, because I don't want my dog or cat jumping out.

I let my dog wander around the car. She likes to stick her head out of the window. Usually I only roll the window down only so far and I make sure I put on the window lock so she doesn't step on the
controls and catch her head in the window.( she did that once). If my husband is driving he will let
her stand in his lap while he drives. He is big enough.
