I suggest you take him to a vet and see if there's something serouisly wrong with him. It's not normal for a cat to keep vomitting like that.

How often does he vomit? Every day, a few times a day, only after eating? Does he ever vomit hairballs or is it bile, is it food?

A trip to the vet might be in order. At the very worst, have his stomach scoped, perhaps there's something going on intestionally. When mine vomited a lot, it ended up he had stomach cancer. That didn't show up on any xrays, he needed to be scoped for that.

Good luck.

Hi there...if the food was suddenly changed this can contribute to vomiting as this causes severe bowel distress. Food should be changed gradually to minimize disturbances with the healthy bacteria in the intestinal tract. http://www.peteducation.com:80/article.cfm?cls=1&cat=1399&articleid=1155

Vomiting can be caused by a lot of other things aside from hairballs such as gorging food too quickly, food allergies to cat foods which contain corn, corn meal, feline disorders/diseases, etc.

It might be hairballs, not vomit. If that's the case there is plenty of stuff you can give them.Just go to a Petsmart or some other pet store and ask.

If there is nothing else wrong with him, he could be over eating. My kitten had a bad habit of eating too much too fast and his little stomach couldn't handle it. I now feed him smaller portions through out the day so he cannot gorge himself.

Hope this helps!

I changed my cats to a "hairball" formula and it worked instantly.

Give that a try and see if it works.
