Okay, so I just found a 5 ft black snake in my back yard. My husband who didn't see it claims that it has to be a blue indigo snake since appearently they are so common down here. Now before I go even further I need to let you know how deathly afraid of any kind of snake. I know that they help with mice and lizards and all that good stuff but I can't live here if they're going to be here. I've been crying for the past hour and have gotten sick twice already so please don't tell me to make friends with them.....I need to get rid of them. How can I get rid of these snakes in particular? We just moved into our dream house and I don't want to sell it but will if I have to. Please please please help!

Will my two cats ever get along?

I have a 9 week old kitten. Today, I brought home a 6 week kitten. The older one chases the younger one and she cries a little when he bites her. Is this normal play? If not, will it ever end?

So I saw the cutest little bunny today that I just wanted to bring home, but I have 3 full grown cats,?

do you think they could learn to adapt to the cute little bunny? The one is a female and has developed the habit of pissing on something of mine when she's mad at me, I'm kind of worried that bringing socks home (that's what I named him) will set her off on a pissing spree your thoughts.

I have a small pond in backyard. A fish is having frys. Know the other fish will eat them. What can I do.?

She is lying on the bottom and has moved twice. I don't know where she is at right now. The pond is 5 x 7. I don't want them eaten up. I have plants in the water and floating plants.

If you Hit a Cat Would You Stop?

On my way home from work today with my kids, my spouse and I noticed a cat laying on the road a few blocks from our home. We slowed to see if it was still alive or not and it was half gone, its eyes were NOT in it's head and my spouse noticed it was our cat. She is an indoor cat and with it being so hot, the kids must have left the door open. Anyhow, it is nuts to me that someone would hit an animal in a residential neighbourhood or anywhere for that matter, and not stop to see if it's ok, or try to get it to a vet. My question is this, if YOU were to hit a cat, an animal, would you stop or would you just keep going? This is unbelievable to me that my cat was lying in the road , slowly dying and noone stopped to help her. How many people drove by and saw her and did nothing? So what would you do?

Has anyone ever had a dog that is a Black Lab/Chow mix. What did they look like and did they "whine" a lot?

I just wanted to thank everyone for their advice. All your answers are appreciated.

This is a very difficult time for me.Rock and Kayla have been my 2 best friends for 10 years.Rock has saved my live on 2 occasions (one time was a house fire that I all but slept through) and Kayla, well she holds my heart.One time I was outside doing yard work and I went into a diabetic comma and she remained by my side until help came. Since then whenever I am outside she will not leave my side.I feel we have been through a lot together.Rock has undergone many hard times.He was not supposed to live past 6 months of age.Rock was originally bought by a RCMP officer but wouldn't take him because of health.He was to have been put to sleep at 8 weeks of age. I couldn't allow that.That's how I ended up with him when I only bought his sister.They have been my friends and protectors.I keep hearing this voice saying, so this is how it ends... and I am torn.Again thank you for your advice. it means alot.
