Put the litter box in the corner of your room because it probably stays in your room to hide from the dog and that's where it poops. Either make sure the litter box is scooped everyday so it dosen't make your room smell or get one that scoops itself automatically

I have 4 cats and a dog as part of my family. My cats use a litter box, my dog goes outside for walks and to go to the bathroom. I do not know why your cat would be pooping under the bed. It definitely sounds like a behavioral problem to me. Are you keeping the cats litter box clean? Is it in a private area- cats like to go to the bathroom in a private spot....? Is the litter box too accessible to the dog? Do the cat and the dog get along? It must feel comfortable and safe in order to use the litter box. It may even be as simple as the fact that if someone else lived where you lived now;let their cat mark under the bed, or their cat pooped or peed under the bed, your cat may be trying to mark over the original scent in order to claim his or her territory. Most cats are very independent, but if you initiate play with some interactive toys...play fishing poles for example, your cat will soon learn to enjoy spending time with you. You should buy a book from the pet store on raising kittens or cats to help you. Good luck!

the cat should not poop under your bed it could be that she is mad at you or she is sick. Please give her a chance it hurts me that you say she is giving you problems. A dog can do the same thing try to play when you don't feel like it. just give her some love and then go about your business and she should stop. I do need to know how old the cat is? is it fixed and declawed?

Welcome to the world of cats! Some say they are easier than dogs, that's not true! Cats are very hard to train, and they definitely have a mind of their own! I've found it's better to have two of them because then they can entertain eachother. They are affectionate animals and crave attention. As far as pooping under your bed, make sure the litter box is clean at all times and every hour or so take it to the litter box. Good Luck!

Maybe it feels threatened in it's litter box. If it only has one opening it might not like to go in it for fear of being trapped by the dog, and some cats prefer closed litter boxes but can't use them if you have other pets. Also it needs to be clean, I clean mine twice a day. My cat always went in the litter box and we've had him since he was a kitten. They prefer it because they like to cover up there scent, so there must be some reason you're cat doesn't like it. Maybe you can put the uncovered litter box under your bed, he'll have privacy and he won't feel like he might get trapped by the dog.

Cats are very independent. They act like they don't need us. They do what they want to...that is what some people love, and some people hate about cats. You need to remove the smell of the poop from under your bed, to deter her from pooping there again.

You need to take your cat to the bathroom with you and the cat's litter box. Close the bathroom door. Stay in the bathroom with you and the cat's litter box, and constantly put the cat into the litter box, so that the cat knows that the litter box is where the cat should go to the bathroom at. I did that with my cats. As I did that, I would say their name out loud as well, so that they knew two things, their name and the litter box.

They poop under your bed because someone has neglected to take the time to train them for the litter box.

They play with you because they are like children....they are energetic and don't know that you don't want to be bothered...

try picking up the poop and putting it i the litter box, then grab ur cat and stick him in there too. make him smell it and grab his paws and teach him how to cover it. whatever u do never hit a cat (he'll grow up to be violent with u and others). if he does something u dont want it to do grab a spray bottle, fill it up with water and spray him when u catch him. they dont like water so either stop doing it or he'll avoid doing it, atleast, around u!
