She needs to be socialized. That means taking her near other dogs A LOT.

Try a classical conditioning and desensitization program. Here are three resources to get more information:

Yahoo! Group 'agbeh' (short for aggessive behavior)

Book "Click to Calm" by Emma Parsons

Book "Dogs are From Neptune" by Jean Donaldson

Ultimately, your dog is barking because she's expressing that she is uncomfortable. Be careful not to force this issue, but instead help her feel more comfortable at a "safe" distance. If you're willing to put in the time, there is a lot you can do to help her with this.

Your dog is spoiled and an only child thats why it doesnt like other dogs.. my dog is the same way, she grew up in a house for a year with 4 other dogs and they all got along fine, when she moved in with me now shes an only dog and HATES other dogs... She barks, growls and is afraid of some other dogs.. Unless she has to be around other dogs.. avoid it, or stay with her when she is around others. Your dog can sense the competition.. its normal!

Try taking her out for walks around places that would have dogs. Treat her and talk to her when around other dogs and make her feel like it's okay and it's a good thing. Just make her feel happy. Even try some obediance classes with other dogs. If that doesn't work talk with a professional trainer.

She's probably just jealous. The only way to try to help her is to keep her around other dogs, but that may never work. Some dogs are just jealous and anti-social, but if you keep her around other dogs she will probably get used to it.

you need to focus on getting your dog outside for it to socialize with other dogs . if you keep it indoors or out in the yard where there are no other dogs then the dog will never learn .

Take her to a park where other people walk their dogs. Chances are she is bing territorial. Let her learn to be around and accept other dogs by taking her to a neutral territory.
