Establish house rules the minute you bring your dog home. That not only includes where to pee, but where to eat, sleep, etc.
It'll take about 2 weeks of constant training for the pup to understand that you want him to eliminate outside, but accidents will still ocurr. Be patient! This takes time. Also, remember that a young puppy can't hold it in that long. Rule of thumb: he can hold it in 1 hour for each month he is old. Therefore, a 2 month old can only hold it in for 2 hours. A 3 month old for 3 hours etc. In the 7th month, the puppy's digestive system should be developed enough so that he should be OK for 7-8+ hours. Most people I know can't hold it in longer than that!

Oh, I bet your puppy is such a little cutey-pie!!!
Yep, the sooner you get to training the better.
It takes allot of 'training' on your part too.
Usually they have to go when they wake up and not very long after they eat. So you have some idea of when to be on the lookout for 'potty training'.
When you take the little darlin' outside to do 'the duty', you should probably go somewhere that you'd want keep your puppy to keep going.
Like, if you just let the puppy potty on a sidewalk or a patio, then it'll get the idea that it would always be ok to go at places like that.
As far as you can get the furry little baby to and still not be out of sight. Not too far,,,but far enough.
What you consistently teach now will stay with the little bugger.
Have fun with your little furry buddy.

Start any and all training as quickly as possible. A puppy is more likely to learn at a younger age, and will absorb more information as a puppy than as an adult. This is the best time to get started. Practice makes perfect....it can take days or months for a dog to pick up on potty training.

You can start now for best results (the earlier the better) but dont expect him to be fully trained right away....Give your dog time to learn the good habits. Talk to a trainer or check out books on puppy training if you have any questions or concerns.

You can start training now.
Take him outside after every meal and every couple of hours. Praise him and give him a treat when he performs. If he has an accident inside take him outside immediately but don't stick his nose in it.

you can start now, by crate training. It will probally take at least 4 mos min. before he's house trained and some dogs are never fully trained. the main thing is to be consistant. decide on an approch and stick to it. good luck

As soon as you get him! Take him outside every like 30 min. and every time he eats and drinks, but definetly put newspaper somewhere in the house, but if he pees on it alot move it around so he doesn't always pee in that spot. Also put the paper outside too.

Start walking him outside now at least twice a day. He's old enough.

if your doing house training right now stick to that . once your pup has had ALL its shots then you can take it outside cause there will be areas where other dogs have done their thing and you dont want your pup to catch anything . so please make sure ALL shots are done first for your pups protection. ESPECIALLY PARVO SHOT
