they will eat dry food and wet food then go for the momma cat. I always have water out for them. I thought maybe it was because they were thirsty after eating but I aleays leave out water and sometimes kitten milk and they drink it but still feed off the mother. And they live outside right now until I moved so I can't seperate them.

I've currently got a wonderful adopted German Shepherd named Aurora, who's about a year old and 70 lbs. Her favorite (and only) playmate is a little two pound dog named Honey. They play together well, and while they can get rough sometimes, they always work it out. The owner of the little dog may need to find a new home for the puppy, and I volunteered to take it. I'm just worried about owning big dog and a small dog. Does anyone own dogs with such a big size difference, and how did it work out?

He has been vet checked and immunised and de sexed...but hes caught kennel cough...The pound said that we could give him linctus but its prob not really worth it has anyone heard of giving dogs honey? they also suggested maybe we try to do that for him????

when i love up on my cat and scratch his head he has this black stuff coming off the top of his head. plus he has small very small patches of hair that comes off his head and neck area. what is that called and how can i get him treated for it? yes i do give him baths and stays clean. my cat does not have fleas because he has a flea collar on him.

It does this at night. Its wings are not moving. It hangs from my porch. Upside down. Where the wall hits the ceiling. And it sits like that. For hours. The damn thing scared the crap out of me.

I have 4 kittens and they are about 5 months old and I'm keeping them, but they keep nursing off of the mother after we try and teach them not to and the mother runs from them alot of the time. What can I do other than get rid of the darlings?

I found what I thought was a very small tick under my dog’s skin on her belly; there were 4 similar looking abrasions of different sizes. When I pulled the black speck out with tweezers it mashed into a goo. Was this a flea?

Just need to know how to get him to be not so aggressive. My one dog is old and not able to fight back. The younger one is just tearing into him.. Any advice would be great.

This humming bird looks very overheated. I live in Las Vegas, NV and it has been very hot here like 115 degrees in the shade. It is just perched on the feeder, and I can walk all the way up to it. I was so close I brought a hand pump sprayer and was misting cool water on it. I am not trying to hurt it, just cool it off. I can imagine with it's high metabolism it can produce a lot of internal body heat.
