With close to 5 million pit bulls in the US would you not think there would be a he!! of a lot more deaths by dogs in the past 15 years than 565. Pits were never bred to be human aggressive The American Temperment society rates pit at a 83% a point higher than golden retriever our countries most loved family dog. the lassie dog is 53%. www.atts.org go look for yourself. Pit bulls are in wide use in US custom for detection dogs. Popsicle a pit is the #1 custom dog. Kristine Crawford as a Team of pits she use as SAR,serach and rescue dogs that was hand picked by NASA to help in the Columdia disaster to help find the astronauts. AS far as us rednecks will ones like, Presidents Wilson and T roosevelt, while in office Hellen Keller, Thomas Edison, General Patton, Fred Astaire,Bernadette Peters, Michael J. Fox, Ken howard, brad pitt John F. Kennedy SR. and Jr, Madonna, Alicia Silverstone, just to name a few do you think they did much dog fighting.

Well, I do everything I can to get money, including cleaning houses and my own. I need this horse. I feel like I have a hole in me. My mom claims that $35 a week is enough, but whenever I get really close to someone elses horse, they take it away or sell it. I want my own horse that won't be ripped from me. understand the price and responsibility and I know we can afford it. My parents give me everything that I don't ask for, but a horse. I just can't get rid of these things though. These are the things they bought instead of saving. These are MINE only, not anyone elses, so they used the money on me. Here they are:
Laptop: $1200
Razor Cell: $300
Dog: $800
Dog: $800 (including shots, spay, neuter, cage, collar, and feed)
Cat: $400 (leash too)
Cat: $400
PSP: $250
PS2: $100
32" Platnum Flat Screen TV: $3500
Cell Cover: $65

They won't let me sell any of this...help!

I have 2 young dogs, maltese, both very lovable, each weighing less than 2 lbs., both very friendly toward other people & animals. I live in a small group of units, each unit has a very small fenced-in private back courtyard. When I am home I leave the door open so my dogs can enter/exit freely. The person next door has cats who jump the fence, wander the neighbourhood, scratch my dogs unprovoked, spray/defecate in my yard, enter my house, eat the dog's food, knock over things in the house. The vet suggested I get a spray bottle & spray them when they come in my yard. The cat's owner saw me doing this, got really angry & started yelling. She also stated that it was inhumane according to the RSPCA & illegal to spray cats with water. Does anyone know if this is true or false? Any further advice? The neighbour said quite meanly to shut my door and don't let the dogs out because cats can wonder wherever they want, that cats don't have the same roaming laws as dogs.

I posted this once, but here it is agian;
Prayer of a Pit bull
Spirit in the sky, who watches over all animals:
It is my prayer and my request that you grant greater understanding,
and acceptance to humans;
those who love us, and those who hate us.
That they will know how loyal we are, how brave we are,
and how loving we are. Help them to accept us as a breed in whole, and not let the few tragedies shine brighter than the many great traits that we have. And those who would kill me,
let them know, I forgive them, even though I don't understand their hatred. And those who would beat me, let them know I still love them, even though it is not the honorable way.
Thank you for all the strong traits that you have given to me,
and my breed. Help those to know that I stand for
courage, strength, loyalty, and bravery.
And as my master already knows, let those who would come against my family know that I would surely die defending them.
And just one last thing that I would ask:
Let my master know, that if you should call me away,
that I will wait patiently at those pearly gates
until the one who chose me,
comes home.

I have a Yorkshire terrier who's pregnant and I'm just wondering how you can tell when they're coming close to giving birth...I know they are pregnant for 60-62 days but I'm not sure when she conceived....she has been acting strange lately she won't get up or move around to much and she's not as playful...is there any signs to idicate if she's close?

Vet says some trauma must have happened (possibly by 6 yr old daughter) and wants 1,000 that I dont have to amputate or 50 to put to sleep which I dont want to do. I feel horrible now because even though the dog is eating and drinking she isnt walking or standing at all, she seems extremely miserable as I'm sure I would be in same situation . Really need a low cost 2nd opinon. Please please someone help.

I want to buy a tortoise as my pet.But I don't know which kind is suitble to be a pet.I mean somthing about its size,health and food.
