Take your dog to the vet.. Also get heavy beef bones to try to wean him off the rocks. Get the joint bones, this might get his mind off the rocks. Rocks are very bad for the teeth! I hope you were not using rocks as a fetch toy.. Try to remove all the rocks out of his yard if this is possible. Good Luck..

I remember watching on Animal Planet about a dog who ate rocks. The vet told the people to remove all rocks from the yard. The dog had to have surgery for removal of all the ones it swallowed. You should take the dog to the vet and make sure you get x-rays because any rocks in the intestines will cause serious problems.

It sounds as though your dogs may have some kind of vitamin or mineral deficiency. Talk to your vet and get a dog multivitamin and see of that helps. Your dog could also be bored if he/she is left out there all day with nothing to do. Make sure the dog gets plenty of attention and exercise.

Yes. The rocks will sit in his stomach. He will stop eating and probably die (if he has eaten too many anyways)
