I have a Golden Reatriever puppy, and whenever I put her in the pool (I hear their breed likes to swim), he just swims right over to the steps and jumps out!
Why does he do this?
I really want to see him swim +'(

one of my female dogs is not fixed so she can get pregnet but two of my dogs are fixed and they are girls too and the one that is not fixed is trying to get on top of her can the not fixed dog get pregnet?

The instructions say that for my cat's weight I give her 1 tablet. Is that just a one time dose and that's all she needs for the month or do I give her one tablet a day until the pills are gone? I'm starting to assume that I only give her the 1 tablet and then the tapeworm will die. Does anyone know for sure? we went to the local SPCA and looked at all the animals ...this Dog really won our hearts he is really gental and well mannered he didn't jump or bark..we took him for a walk he pulled ahead a little but stopped on command... he was good with our son and our son ( age 3) seemed to like him too, we have a one acre fenced in yard so he'd have room to run...what do you think? he's been there since april I'm araid if we wait to long he will be put to sleep

My dog has Addison's Disease and has to take Steroids for the rest of her life, her body doesnt produce them.
I have had a dog in my training class that took prednisone (for another reason) and I referred them to a veterinary behaviorist due to aggression and the highest level of anxiety I have ever seen in a dog. The dogs' veterinarian told the owner that the aggression and anxiety was due to the steroids and this dog takes 1/3 the amount of my dog.
My vet says that since lexus doesn't produce the steroid, she will not react this way.
She does not show any aggression and is extremely well trained, (for me, not my boyfriend)
The difference I see is she is exceptionally STARVING all the time! I call her pizza pie eyes! Her anxiety is over food now, and she is interested in seeing other dogs alot more, with no aggression. This is not a problem for me, my boyfriend is not a very good handler though ! :)

I hope no more side effects, has anyone else had a bad reaction?

My dog seems to be coughing alot, but she coughs up white foamy stuff... She also sounds like she is choking.
I called the vet and they said take up her food until monday that was it...
Could she be having a cold or allergies? She is not choking on anything that I could find.
She is 1 yr old and is a Cheapeak Bay Golden Retreiver, this all started last night... The weird thing is I have been sick for two nights as in vomiting only at night, but in the morning I have felt better.
Sorry I don't mean to sound gross.
Can someone please help!

one more thing my friend bought some exer-Hide raw hide chew bones, but not a bone just looks like it.(Chicken basted.) After she got theses with in a day she started choking and I notice anytime she eats or chews anything she chokes or coughs.
Could she be allergic to these?
Please help I don't know what or where to go with this She is doing this often and did it all night long last night July /21-22/06
