I adoped a 9 year old Male Scottish Fold 6 months ago.
I recently found out he has Skeltal abnormalites.
This is caused by the gene causing the folded ear trait,
it is a dominant gene which causes skeletal problems if the cat inherits two copies of the gene. In most cases this happens when inbreeding occurs or when breeding two folds.

Signs of skeltal abnormalites are a thickened tail caused by tail vertebrae fusing and thickened legs with swollen feet due to overgrowth of cartilage around the paws.
These side-effects cause problems with walking,
But in most cases it don't affect the cats overall health.

Can anyone tell me any tips on proper long term care???

It is a regular goldfish (not the "fancy" kind lol) completely orange/gold and rather big for a goldfish. It was supposed to be a starter fish for my 2.5 gal. tank. It is the only one that survived and I have decided to keep just "it" in the tank for now . . . I also have 2 cats - Smokey & Dinah.

The answer I like best will get the points and I will use the name : )

I made my beagle a backyard dog, we have a giant fenced backyard that's good for him and he always runs around it and exercises himself. He had parvo as a pup which is very contagious on the land he was on even though I brought him to a vet and cured him 100%, so he's all alone. I let him in the house throughout the day (he's sniffing my dirty laundry behind me now) but whenever I bring him into the backyard and he's alone and will bark loud for about 20 minutes straight. I'm afraid of the neighbors getting angry so sometimes I have to creep past the sliding glass door hoping he doesnt see me and bark. Does anyone know what will make calm down when I put him outside?

how can i feel less guilty? at night, my 3 month old kitten always runs around and goes crazy. then he sorta calms down. but my family says that we should keep him in one area at night when we're all sleeping so he doesn't run aroudn the house. now i feel sorta guilty because we have to put a "fence" up. (but not outside) i heard him meowing before and i feel soooo guilty. i want him to feel free and welcome in our home. what should i do?

I have a puppy, and I know he's still learning but is there any good method to not have him chew on fabrics, etc. without using the bitter apple spray or anything? Or will they eventually grow out of it?

I have a full blood female boxer. She is 5 years old and this will be her last litter. I want to breed her to a full blood male boxer. The owner of the male will get pick of the litter. Her name is Sadie. She has 3 sets of papers on her. AKC UKC and APRI. Male boxer must have atleast 1 set of papers. Also must be within reasonable distance to Jacksonville, Texas. I don't leave her at the breeder's house. I will take her over there for a while to get bred. She is up to date on all shots and no medical conditions. I expect the same for the male. Please post a reply on here if you are interested or know someone who is interested. Thanks, Krystle

Okay, for most of you that are familiar to my questions you all already know that I have 2 Rotts and a Chow.
I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with these breeds and newborn babies. I'm about to have a kid and I would like to know if these breeds are good family dogs or not.
All 3 of my dogs are big babies and they are protective when strangers come around, but they have been around kids. My only fear is jealousy between the dogs and my child. Should I be concerned or not?
