Hi. Yes it can!-I have watched mine do it. (eeww?-well that is what a Cat is built for, isn't it?) However this was a good sized cat, eating a Robin Redbreast. Depending on the kitty's size, and how hungry, is what size it will eat-if you let it. As for the feathers and bones-more 'Eeeww' here-well you own a cat. They will swallow much of the above-they are built to handle it, but they will also *cough* hairball* throw up what they couldn't digest.

I've seen a cat eat an entire mouse in one swallow...only the tail was hanging out of his mouth. I'd bet a cat could swallow an entire small bird in five minutes.

as far as i know no they cat. I know my bird cant. they can eat most of it but i aint sure about the feathers

Probably but you need to keep your cat indoors to where he can't do that. Birds carry diseases and the kitty can get it. Not to mention alot of people get mad cause cats eat birds and its making them endangered.

Yes, and unfortunately that's one less bird. Cats that are well fed don't need to kill anything but they kill anyway because of the instinct that controls them.
