Agreed, your pen needs proffesional attention. Take it to a veterinary.

There are three possibilities.
Either the rabbit is wounded, and it should receive veterinarian aid to come back to health.

It can be simply in shock. The vet will advise you what to do then.

Or it might be severily injured, and then it's best to put an end to it's misery. It's sad, and I belive you wouldn't want to do it yourself. A professional will do it in the most humanitarian way possible, should it become necessary.

To all the people who said, take it to the vet............ I totally agree. This should have been your first, immediate response, wasting time asking the question is more than a little irresponsible and I hope the delay has not placed your poor rabbit in any more pain and distress. If you cannot afford to take the animal to get vetinary treatment in an emergency then you shouldnt have the animal.

To all the people who said, cook it, etc ..................... you are sick, I like rabbit stew as much as the next person but this is somebody's pet, somebody's injured pet, and a pet is usually loved, it may only be a rabbit and even though the owner may be misguided they care enough to at least ask what they should do about it's injuries which is more than can be said for some animal owners.

Try to keep your smartass answers for smartass questions, not the ones where people are genuinely asking for help.

More than likely he has a broken spine.Rabbits are very fragile in that area. If he tries to move and drags his hind legs that is what is wrong and there is nothing to be done for that. Be sure to give him plenty of water whehter you take him to the vet or not. Where I live we do not have any rabbit savy vets so I have almost become one myself and most of the time I do the right thing. Just lost 12 to neighbors pit bull dogs but I blame myself so needless to say I now have a fence around my rabbit house and an electric fence so I have no problems after the dogs got in it the first night it was on. It is up to us to protect our rabbits from predators as they are helpless when a predator can tear their cage apart and get to them. I have had rabbits over a year and never been bothered by predators but my number finally came up. You might want to mix some canned milk, egg and honey adn try feeding it so if it is able to recover this will help give it some nutrition.

Get hold of Poorbunnyhospicecare.com

Your pet, that you are trying to convince others you care about, was attacked....WHEN? If you truly loved that animal, his hutch would not be accessible by his enemies in the first place. Why didn't you take the poor llittle critter last night? Sorry, felt like venting! Anytime my pets get stung by various bugs and go into a type of shock, I rush them to the vet and pay about $800.00 to save their lives as soon as I find that they are hurt. I run around nilly-willy, cry, beg, plead hubby for the ride and the money and sit outside of the overpriced vet emergency clinic, clinging to hope that they will make it......

If that don't work, I cook em up for Sunday's dinner!!!!!!!

I assume the foxes didn't get to him as they would have finished him off. He is suffering from shock - contact a vet for advice - i wouldn't leave him outside in the hutch for a while either (particularly overnight)!

Let's think, if you were attacked at night what would you want someone to do? Perhaps take you to a doctor?! You need to get this bunny to a vet. You shouldn't even be a pet owner.
