Please tell me you are joking about swinging a cat by the tail!!!! That can really hurt or kill the cat because of the way the bone structure is. It's very serious to do that! It's cruel.
Cats do NOT like to have their tails messed with at all...and they hate having their back feet messed with even less.
I've had kittens bite me for less. If you were just playing with the kitty...he was probably just playing, too. Don't encourage the behavior...but they usually outgrow it. Say 'ouch' really loudly and refuse to play with him after that. Kittens just don't know it hurts because it's perfectly ok when they romp with their litter mates.

Call animal control!!!! Didn't you know that you can get into real serious trouble for animal cruelty? How would you like it if someone swung you back and forth by your nipple? No wonder your cat bit you! You're teaching your cat how to be aggressive by your cruelty. I recommend you just chill out and be the cat owner that any cat would love to have, and spread the love. If I were a cat, I wolud want to be MY cat......
