do you think they could learn to adapt to the cute little bunny? The one is a female and has developed the habit of pissing on something of mine when she's mad at me, I'm kind of worried that bringing socks home (that's what I named him) will set her off on a pissing spree your thoughts.

I love bunnies but have always owned cats. I have NEVER had any problems with cats and rabbits living together. I do not understand where people come up with this stuff.
I had a cat bring home a newborn bunny once but if the bunny is older you should not have any problems. As a matter of fact, my bunny would hunch my cats and that was a problem.
But the cats taught my bunny to use the litter box and that was a good thing. He would just follow them in the box and sniff around and turn around and start using it too.
I have had 6 bunnies on separate occassions that lived in harmony with my cats with no problems.
As long as you make sure to give your cat the same amount of attention (or more) than the rabbit it shouldn't upset the cat.

Well, the bunny is going to spend unsupervised time in the cage...your cats might be ticked at first, but then they'll just ignore Socks, probably. When you let Socks out of the cage, it has to be under supervision-if the cats are a problem, you can always kick them out of the room. And if the cats are terrorizing the poor bunny in the cage-then just keep the cage where the cats can't get to it when you are not home.

I'd be more concerned that the cats would eat the rabbit. Even if cats are just playing, they're a lot stronger than rabbits with sharp claws. You'd be setting yourself up for a nightmare situation. Don't do it. If you like the rabbit, then let it be.

For Sock's sake don't do it!

By the way it sounds like your pisser of a cat has a definite attitude problem.

Perhaps you might just try to locate a pet psychologist. While you're at it -- find one for yourself.

I cannot believe I just recommended that. Good Luck
