A friend of my husbands called there cat stupid. Maybe that's more mean than strange but it was the first cat name that came to mind when reading your question.

My coworker has a cat with the name S**thead. Really.
He has an alias "Murphy" when he goes to the vet.

One of my cats (now departed) was named Niko. It's Japanese for cat. So, my cat's name was Cat.
