they haven't worked although my symptoms have improved a bit. It is like im rocking when I get it, I get up in the morning thinking it has gone but as the morning goes on it gets worse. I don't seem to notice it when Im out side but when I get in the warm it comes on. I was told that it was an inner ear thing but that was sheer guess work, I had no test for this. What else could it be, it isnt accompanied with any other symptoms. Ive been on the tablets for nine days and have one day left.

I'm pretty sure I have social anxiety, I could list the symptons but it would just be a waste of time. Should I contact my normal doctor or go to a shrink? Also what would you consider the best medication for this? Thanks

I have a 15 year old daughter who is depressed and over weight . She has tried loosing weight, she has been exercising 3 times a week for an hour and a half and watches what she eats and hasn't been able to loose. She has also had her T4 and TSH levels checked three times in less then 2 yrs and they have come back in the normal range. Her therapist has suggested putting her back on anti-depressents for depression. Does anyone know if there are any anti-depressent meds that will help her loose vs gain weight?

Thanks,
Her Mom

My son (almost 12) was recently diagnosed with ADD. It's something that he's "had" for years but has never really caused any problems. He had trouble sitting still at the dinner table and while watching TV but what kid doesn't? As he's gotten older we've noticed that his social skills are behind his peers (altho he has a "girlfriend" but that's another questions altogether) and he has become very depressed and suicidal. He started seeing a therapist (who diagnosed it) and the therapist feels my son would benefit from medication. We have a dr. appt. scheduled for a physical (and possible meds) but want to know what's out there other than drugs that may be beneficial and help my son.

Before you start spouting off how I'm a bad parent I want to tell you that my son is a straight A, GATE student, doesn't get in trouble in school or at home (really) and he has never thrown a temper tantrum in a store (or anywhere else)...he's a young man in pain and needs assistance, not judgement.

When I had my anuerysm, it had burst, they did not fix it surgically. The doctors said it would absorb back into the brain. I am now begining to get neck pain and headaches every day and at times severe dizziness and lightheadedness and/or fainting. I am beginning to see a neurologist about my problems. Is it worth mentioning the aneurysm, even after all these years?

In this day and age where security is a major issue, x-ray machines are found in most office buildings. I pack a lunch and put in my briefcase and then it runs thru an x-ray machine when I enter my workplace. Could this pose any potential health problems?

I recently got involved with a guy, and he just happen to be recovering from a battle with Cancer. We had the most amazing connection, more than I have ever felt with anyone else...i could tell he felt it too. He got really ill from a round of chemo for about 4 days, and totally changed towards me. I know i can't possibly understand what he's going thru but I feel so lost and he won't let me in to help. We had said we were together but now i dont know...he said he needs to focus on getting better. I get that but I don't know to think, and i don't want to bother him with my little issue. It seems so small compared to what he is going thru.... please offer honest advice.
