so I have an ulcer, doc gave me nexium for a while. It worked a bit and I finally stoppped taking them, but now its been a month of so and the pain is slowly coming back.

I might make a second appointment, but I was wondering first has any one here had an ulcer and have you been presrcibed nexium or something like it MULTIPLE times and does it keep helping, or is it just maintaining?

and whats the time period between the prescriptions?

I am having constant soreness and pain in my upper, right side rib-area, just under my right breast. I have concerns due to medication I have been taking for cronic pain, also, I was adopted and do not know my history. * NOTE: I also recently recovered from a (mild) case of pneamonia, in which I had severe coughing/sneezing and have been told that this pain could be pulled/strained muscles. Nevertheless, I am very concerned and still in much pain. It does not seem to be subsiding.

Any info is helpfull!

i had my eyes dialated few days ago..and it's not blurry anymore but i see these small particle stuff everywhere moving like especially i see it on the wall. do u know why it does that?

ok, so here goes. my daughter was sick yesterday, this being her second day.

at first we believed she had a little cold, coming into cold season, even though we live in california.

however then her main concern was how bad her throat hurt, when she swallowed when she talked even when she took a breath, it pained hre throat.

so then we thought she could possibly have sore throat.

however only a good 15 minutes ago, i took her tempature, and yes you guessed it she had a tempature.

one ear said 104.9
the other said 104.6

i believe your supposed to take you child to the Dr's at 105!?

is this true?
what do you reommend? shes had plenty of fluids and rest all day, but it makes me nervous because i have work...

Ok i am 16 years old, female, i am 5'6 and i am 115lb. i work out 3-4 times a week and i eat at fast food 1 time in maybe 3 months. i eat farly healthy. my cholesterol is 236!!! i was told it was from genetics but i need to lower it in 3 months befor my next blood testing. how could i do this... it seems like i am already doing what everyone says! please help me out. thank you!

I went to a rheumatologist recently, who ruled out arthrtis as the cause of my pain and numbness in my hands and wrists. At the time I had pain in my shoulders, but that has thankfully stopped. My symptoms are very carpal tunnelish (though the Rheumotologist said it was not), and worst in the morning.

I am apple shaped and worry about Diabetes. Its the numbness that sounds like diabetes to me. Also, it runs in my family. when the rheumotologist did blood work, he said my blood sugar was fine, but I hadnt fasted for it. I think it was 130 or so. My question is whether I should have it retested? I dont have health insurance right now so I have to be mindful with costs.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

if yes then how? i realised that i have stress cos now my chest pain sometimes and have body pain especially the back and shoulders. Three years ago i had just developed any attitude of being angry for no reason when i am around my family and always think what i will be in future since i am 20 yrs and still have nothing despite being in university. went abroad on a gov scholarship and experienced cultural and racial problem that made it worst but now i am a bit settling cos i met a doctor who told me that i have emotions problem but i know myself that i am very shy thus, don't interact with many people. This potty is for my toddler. As soon as I got it, I realized he can move forward fairly easy...so if he poops, poop will be all around the area. How can you keep the wood sanitized in this situation??? The potty is expensive and non-refundable :-(

i dont have a cold nor a flu but i permanently have a runny nose. its not really runny but whenever i clean my nose, there is wet mucus always. been like this only for the past yr. i never had this problem prior to this. what can i do to stop this? i think it started when i had a cold and the sniffle never went away but the cold did.

Iam a 26 year old male, and next Wednesday the 6th I go for a medical which includes a blood sample. Now the problem that Iam thinking of is that last night I had about 9pints of bitter, Iam thinking if I dont have a drink from now till after the blood sample that gives me 5days of drinking water (the odd cup of tea now and again). I was wondering though because alcohol does raise you billium levels is there anyway I can help reduce the levels, just so I can make sure I pass my medical?
Iam not an alcoholic or anything I just want to make sure I can pass my medical, so I can get on the study.
Any information will greatly be appreciated.

...that the CAT scan did not show everything? I know the doctor knows how to read the scan, and I don't, but I am concerned that there may be something wrong with my brain. I hope not, as he said the scan looked fine with no problems. Should I press for an MRI. I am taking Avelox for infection and antivert for dizziness. I am still pretty worried. Please, serious answers only. Thank you.

Do you belive that positive thinking can help mild depression? im trying to start saying positive quotes to myself now to clear my head....i feel a little down and worry to much i think i could have mild depression and dont want ot go to a doctor or a counceller....do you think it can help? i feel so negaitive and worried i feel my nerves getting bad :-(

Can Post-Nasal Drip cause minor chest discomfort and breathing difficulty..I know that mucus can sometimes get into your air passages...The mucus is clear and I don't have a fever, but I do feel mucus down my throat that gets worse at night.

My chest feels like im having a heart attack, even now, like a consistant pain in my chest. I know no kid want's to do there homework. Thats not strange, but I haven't been able to bring myself to do it for two weeks. I can get jittery, and it's hard for me to breath. I feel like crying for no reason, and I constantly worry about my homework since it just seems to be getting worse and worse. It's hard to focus, and I can get mad easily, & It's hard to breath.

I have a bulging eye.I can also feel my thyroid and the tubes down both sides.Which are thyroid signs.My problem is the symptoms dont seem to match either an over or under active thyroid.I get dead pains that effect one limb at a time.Pain when i touch my skin muscle twitches constipation.I cant sleep great either but most of these symptoms dont sound like a thyroid or do they.

I'm 21 years old and I was recently diagnosed with insulin resistance and fatty liver disease (runs in my family along with diabetes). I am about to start on Metformin to get both of these under control as well as to help me lose weight I am unable to lose due to these problems.

I would like to hear from anyone who is on Metformin or knows someone on it! How does it work for you/them? Pros and Cons? Thanks so much!

Ight so i get randomly drug tested for soccer at school I have not smoked weed since April, i am visiting back my old home this christmas break and going to smoke, the first day i get there, than take some niacin. but before i leave, im going to piss in a asprin bottle, and keep it in my locker, so if i ever get randomly tested, it will be there, does Urine go stale? or is it smart to piss before hand.?
