really work for flu symptoms? Has anyone used this and what were the results?

In some recent studies (properly executed and done double blind) showed that 63% of patients treated with Oscillococcinum showed clear improvement in 48 hours. That's pretty conclusive :)

It's homeopathic so most people will tell you it's complete BS and makes no sense. As a nurse, even I admit the concept of homeopathy makes no sense.

However, I have been using this product for the last six years. Whenever I start feeling under the weather I pop some Airborne, drink orange juice and take Oscillococcinum and whatever bug I've got seems to fade away pretty quickly.

Last time I had the *real* flu was about seven or eight years ago, I mean the kind where you feel like you are going to die, then after a day or two you start actually wishing you *would* die to end your misery. That's how you know you have the actual flu as opposed to some non-specific virus - death starts sounding pretty good.

I don't get flu shots either, never had had one either. So, three years ago I got a sort of flu during flu season, feverish and feeling crappy but took my airborne, orange juice and oscillococcinum and it just went away. Maybe it's a placebo effect but I think it's worth the $10 to try it out anyway.
